Outskirts of Qiao, Wei, 161 A.D.
Cao Cao followed a crumbled dirt path ran over by carriages, allowing Cao Cao and Sima Yi's feet to sink in like marble stone twisting into concrete.
"I'm getting oh so tired Sima Yi? You don't expect us to just keep on walking? Wu men could be as far as Runan."
"Or as close as Guanzhang."
Cao Cao grunted as he kicked over rocks, "I mean....Yuan Shao was a prick."
"But I thought he was a friend? Is he not?"
Cao Cao let his eyes be a telescope examining Sima Yi's posture.
Sima Yi bested Cao grinning his way through his vulnerable defense, "Bùxíng"
Cao Cao stopped walking.
"I'm hungry, tired, I want to rest. We may never find Shao, not now not ever."
"Indeed this would be faster by carriage not by feet. Very well, We must meet an acquaintance of mine."
"Does she have food?"
"She has glory. She has beauty. And her family lives off of gold...."
Cao Cao grinned so wide his bright white teeth scythed the sun, "Who is she?"
"Cao Cao, were heading to Pinggao."
Cao Cao's eyes almost collapsed on his feet, "That's a rich Wei county, you have ties there?"
"I have a soon to be wife there. I'm young, but not dumb."
Cao Cao did a full cartwheel over to Sima Yi, "All the glutinous muffins i'll be eating! Hoorah."
Sima Yi chuckled before letting his eyes wander decisively, "My fiance name is Zhang Chunhua."
