Mutations Phase 2

      I watched, horrified, as the dog's welts bubbled and grew, spreading over its host's body, almost as if devouring it. My hand shot up to my mouth stopping me from screaming my head off, but I still had to bite my lower lip to stifle the sounds that did come out. The small grey dog yelped and whined obviously in pain as the strange blob of skin swelled over it's body finally meshing together over the dog's head. The pale, red pile of skin gurgled and groaned expelling a red liquid onto the gray paved floor. It digested the dog! I thought utterly disgusted. The grotesque blob began to shape itself and mold into what looked like a new born dog but well half decayed and about six feet long. I had enough of watching it so I made my way carefully, tip toeing down the hallway. Growl, Huff. I froze in mid step. Grrrrrr. I whipped my head around coming face to muzzle with the beast I had seen huddled on the floor, with bare, pinkish skin. Now, as it stood in front of me, with thick fur bristling down its back, it looked about five times bigger than me. Oh SHI- HOLY MOTHER OF FREAKING MUTANT FLUFFY WOLF DOGS!!!!!!  I ripped down the hall I came from with the dog snapping at my heels (or in this case at the braid of my hair) its snarls only encouraging me to move my feet faster and to work my lungs more harder. I had to dodge the rubble and keep myself from tripping on the fallen wall plaster. A corner yes! My brain thought frantically as I my shoes skidded across the paved floor when I drifted towards the curved wall.

And there down the hall was......
