One month later......

It's funny really. I feel like after years and series of unfortunate events, my life has led to this moment. I look back on the past two months. After the whole almost dying incident and then getting back together with Matteo, it's been bliss.

In all honesty, I still don't think I deserve him. He's like a breath of fresh air. I still couldn't believe he forgave me so easily. The night after our intimate moment, I had told him I understood if he was mad and wanted to leave me or if he just needed some time but he told me it was forgiven.

He even joked saying," You're not you when you've lost your memory."

I'll never understand how he can be so forgiving and nice. I know if we were in different positions, I'd probably put all his favorite things in his favorite car and blow it up.....if I was feeling generous that day.

I mentally shook my head at the thought as we pulled up at the park. Matteo and I had decided to go get some fresh air at one of the local parks since we had been cooped up at home all day.

Oh yeah, that's the other thing, we moved in together about a week ago. Jess, being the positive person he is, couldn't wait to get me out of the house. He practically packed my bags for me, it was funny actually. I got to watch him try and fit all my things into one box before he realized we had four other boxes that could be used to pack up my stuff.

I unbuckled my seat belt, getting out the car and embracing the distinct smell of nature. It was kind of chilly, so when I exhaled my breath turned white. We started to walk through the parks trails, following the signs, so we don't get lost.

"Careful Rudolf," Matteo joked," don't catch a cold."

He was referring to obviously to the way my nose was probably slightly red from the cold. As we continued walking, he almost tripped on absolutely nothing.

"Okay bigfoot, only if you try not to trip on air," I retorted while trying not laugh.

"Just let it all out," he sighed exaggerated.

I burst out laughing. My whole body shook with laughter and soon Matteo joined in, both of us probably looking crazy at how hard we were laughing.

"Okay, okay" he tried," that was hilarious."

"I know, Sir trips a lot," I snorted, looking down as I began walking. The ground had a little bit of ice on it causing me to almost fall, but someone caught me and from the scent it definitely wasn't Matteo.

I looked up into a familiar pair of pale green eyes. Jordan smiled at me, shaking his head in amusement, his chestnut hair falling in his face slightly.

"We've got to stop meeting like this," he teased," I can't save you all the time."

I took a step back from him, still a little uncomfortable with being so close to him. I was vulnerable, that day on the bridge, hell I almost ended it all. Trusting him was only a heat of the moment, or at least, that's what I told myself.

I forced a smile," Hey Jordan, long time no see."

He snorted shaking his head at me," If you were any faker you'd be a Barbie doll, I know you're not fully comfortable around me so don't act like you are for my sake."

Forgot he knows me well.

I smirked," At least I tried."

"Only you Alexander."

"Alexander?" I heard Matteo ask from behind me, as he walked up and wrapped an arm around my waist. Protective as usual. I roll my eyes at him, even though his presence makes me relax slightly.
