"Dad!" I screamed out for my dad. He was leaving me. He was leaving me and mom. Why?
Present Day
"Sam!" Mom yelled for me down the stairs. Today was my mom's wedding day. After dad left she met a new guy. His name is Frank. They are going to get married tomorrow so we're picking up the cake.
Frank is a nice, tiny, and smart guy. Really great guy.
"Well are you going to stand there and think all day or are we heading out?" Mom said chuckling.
"Sorry let's go." I said smiling and leaving into the car.
"So for the wedding, have you found a friend your going to dance with?" Mom asks keeping her eyes on the road.
"Umm no. Do I have to have a date?" I complained
"Yes please tomdo it for me." Mom begged.
"Fine." I huffed and looked out the window.
