It Was The Knife

Chapter 10

*kellins POV*

Sigh.

"Hi Kellin!" My buddy Paul said.

I faked a smile and waved.

Today was my last day and I was so steady to get out.

"Kellin Quinn. Please step up" I stood up and walked towards the front desk.

I smiled at the lady and gathered my belongings.

"Have a nice day." She smiled.

"You too." I say and walk out.

I inhaled the air and actually smiled for once. Not a painful sorrow fake smile. But an acutual smile.

I went to a gas station and called Sam

"Hello?" She picked up.

"Hey Sam it's me I got out today and was wondering if you could pick me up?" I asked.

"Sure! That's great! I-I'm on my way!" She says and asks where I'm at. I tell her and she hangs up immediately.

"Hi!" Sam says coming out of her car.

"Hey" I smile weakly and get in the car.

"You hungry?" Sam asked facing the road still.

"Sure." I shrug and looked out my window.

"Um after dinner can we stop by the mall and my house and head to our special place." I ask smiling at her.

"Sure." She smiled and drove

After dinner and the mall and the trip to my house we went up the cliff and sat on the log.

"It's such a beautiful veiw" Sam said.

"Yea but enjoy it, tomorrow may not come." I said quietly

"oh dont be silly Kellin." Sam laughed.

I shrugged and just kept starring into the sunlight.

Sam's phone started ringing and she picked it up with excitement.

"Hello?" She said smiling.

"Hey what's up?"

She bit her lip and smiled even more.

"Yea i'll be on my way!" She said and grabbed her purse.

"Where ya going?" I asked.

"To Rob's house, my ......" She trailed off and got a sad look in her eyes.

"My boyfriend." She said quietly.

I looked at her and nodded.

"Go" i said

"What about you?"

"I'll be fine ill just stay here for a little." I said and looked back at the sun which was setting.

"Okay bye!" She said excitedly and hugged me leaving away into the forest.

I sighed and kept starring. I finally founf the perfect spot that'll let me be free.

3rd person POV

ring ring ring

"Hello?" Sam answered into the phone.

"Hello is this Sam?" The man from the other side of the phone asked.

"Yes."

"I'm sorry to tell you this but your friend....." The man went quiet.

"Your friend Kellin Quinn commited suicide." The man said quietly.

Sam was shocked and couldn't believe what she was hearing.

"W-What?" She started to sob.

"Last night at the forest near a cliff he fell but he left a note for someone named Sam. Which is you." The man said.

"Where are you? I'm coming for the note."

"We actually left it on your front step."

Sam ran to the front of her house and checked her steps.

She opened the note and covered her mouth from crying.

"Dear Sam,

If the police or someone gave this note to you and you're probably crying or don't even careand might thrown this not away but i wanted to say something. Something to at least make you know that I love and care about you." Sam started to cry and continued to read.

"I wan to say that I love you and I always will. I want you to know that no matter what people say or do, you'll always matter. And if people don't care about you, than remember I do. I'll remember you when I see you again. But until then. Goodbye.

Sam screamed and cried on her porch. She knew she shouldn't have left him.

"Why did i leave him why am I stupid why why why why?!" She thought.

She held the note up to her chest and cried.

But started to wonder why Kellin said for now.......
