Chapter 8

I woke up the next day from someone knocking at my day yelling it was time for me to get ready. Yeah ready for my death. I get up, put my game clothes on, take a deep breath, and walk out the door terrified. 

~~~~~~~Time Skip~~~~~~~

 I am about to go onto the shuttle and Finnick is telling me this bullshit about I need to do this and this but not this to stay alive. the only thing I actually paid attention to was the last thing he said. 

"Oh and one last thing,  be careful who you trust." 

That one really got me thinking. I'm I %100 sure I can trust Phil. Yes I can, or can't I. Whatever, I'll think about it later.

~~~~~Another Time Skip~~~~~

I walk into this weird room with this weird tub thing. That must be the tub I'm going up in. I look around the room until I realized that my stylist Autumn was in the room and she ran over to me and gave me a hug.

"Oh Daniel, how I wish you all the luck in the world." 

"Thank you." I said.

(30 seconds )

I start to become a little bit nervous when I hear that.

"Ok listen Daniel, you can win this. I've seen how good you throw spears and you are so much taller than a lot of them." said Autumn.

(20 seconds)

I'm starting to shake now.

"Remember, run as fast as you can and try really hard to stay away from the other tributes if you are unprepared."

(10 seconds)

I can't breath. I feel like I'm going to be sick. I start to walk to that tube thing feeling like I'm already dying.

"Daniel one last thing. I believe in you."

I smile as the tube thingy goes up and I get hit sunshine. As my eye's get use to the light I look around to see if I see Phil, then I realized that he was right next to me. I look at him and he mouths to me "Let's go get some stuff, is that ok with you." I nod and look at the timer as i realized that it only has 10 seconds left.
