Laura's POV

"Hey, where are you going?" a deep, husky voice shouted from behind me hearing a pair of shoes compacting with the ground. I furrowed my eyebrows together before turning around where the voice came from. And it was no other than Ross.

I rolled my eyes at him and scoffed, "somewhere" I said not looking at him directly in the eye.

he speeded up keeping my pace, "and that is.." Ross trailed off waiting for my answer. "None of your business"

that blonde piece of crap just kept on following me and never stopped even when I started to run indiscreetly hoping he didn't catch I was escaping from him. But I think that was pretty obvious long ago.

"oh come one. I know you love being near me," he said using that cocky tone of his. Jerk.

"no, I don't. I though I made that clear"

Ross just smirked and put his hands on both of my shoulders stopping me from running. "Well sweetheart, you did. The thing is I don't like listening to you."

I hummed rolling my eyes at him. I took his hands off my shoulders before walking past him making sure we bump shoulders — which was a little hard to do since he is so tall.

"I don't care what you do or not. Shouldn't you be right there?" I asked while pointing at the closed door with a sign pasted and the word 'detention' written in black permanent marker. He chuckled, "As well as you,"

I felt the bright sun lights hitting my face, telling me that was already morning and had to get up to go to school.

I slowly got out of bed because I was still lazy and sleepy. Yesterday I couldn't stop thinking about that two faces guy. I can't read him, it's difficult to know if he is being good to you or is going to backstab you anytime.

I was searching through my closet what outfit to put on. Not that I had many or not that I care how do I look but I still have some dignity on my style of clothing. And knowing Gabriella, is going to judge how do I look. Gabriella hasn't come to school for the past few days. Her parents told the principal she was with a 'weird disease'.

But you and I know that in all the sentence there wasn't any single truth detail. Knowing her, all the week she has been partying, partying and.....partying. So, if she hasn't come, I know that today she is going to attend the school.

Today I wasn't going to catch the bus because Allan is going to pick me up. He already got his driver license and since then he started to rub it on my face but I just laugh at his childish actions.

Since I was ready I went downstairs to grab something to eat. I sat at the kitchen stool staring at nothing but space eating peacefully my apple. But my peace had to be disturbed by a knock on the front door.

I groaned before standing up and opening the door. There he stood, a handsome brown haired man, whose eyes are with a beautiful color brown and with a perfect smile plastered on his face holding up a red rose.

I couldn't believe my eyes. He has to be the perfect best friend for doing this. I found myself smiling for this unexpected action.

"and why the rose?" I finally asked because it felt like it took me years to take the words out of my mouth. He innocently smiled at me before answer me," well before picking you up I took a walk and a really beautiful rose caught my eye, so I thought 'why don't pick up a beautiful flower for a beautiful girl?', and here I am"
