My Only Friend (L Lawliet x Reader)

Author's Note: Hey guys! Been awhile since I posted so I thought I'd make it up to ya. Here's an L Lawliet x Reader. Death Note is not mine, Picture is not mine and you belong to yourself. Enjoy! Male and Female readers aloud for this.

                   Your POV
  The Kira investigation. That's all he's been focusing on lately. Of course I was there to help him. But he hasn't been spending any time with me lately. Though I've gotta admit, I may have feelings for him. We've known each other for along time now even before the whole Kira thing went down.
   For once I'm going to try to have him take a break from that damn investigation for once. He hasn't been sleeping but he has been eating and drinking which was good.
   I walked to the room to see L staring at his computer screen. Of couse. "L-Kun. I brought you some more sweets." I said. "Ah Y/N-Chan, nice to see you. Come in!" He said.
   I walked in and sat next to him. "Any progress?" I asked. "Still thinking about this note that a prisoner left behind before he died. It says: 'L do you know? Gods of Death. Love apples." (Mini Note: Yes. That episode.) L read to me. "Maybe he's trying to say that there is a high chance that Shinigami's do exist." I said. "Yes, that could be. But it could also pinpoint to something else he's trying to say." He said. "Well what else could it mean?" I asked him.
   "Hm." He pondered a bit.
   Then I spoke up. "L, do you ever get tired of investigating the same old thing everyday?" I asked looking at him. "I guess." He said.
   "Well maybe you should take a break. And hang out with your best friend for once." I said. I whispered the last part. He seemed to feel guilty about it. "Yeah, I guess you're right." He said and got up. "Would you like to do something with me?" He asked blushing slightly. You blushed as well but you nodded anyways.
   You finally achieved what you've wanted since you arrived in Japan. To see your best and only friend.
