Everyone was focused on the mystery that stood right in front of their faces.
Who is Kira?
What weapon is Kira using to cause this mass murder?
Is it possible to identify Kira and lock him/her/them up?
Everyone in the room, aspecially L, was trying to determine the answer.
I thought things were fine the way they were.
In a night when I had started running away, the rain rang on the window loudly, as I was being tormented by regrets
Light's POV
I was in the very same room where everyone else was solving the same mystery.
Yet they're too dumb to realize that Kira was in the exact same room as everyone else was. Not that I'm saying it's a bad thing.
I also have a date with Kiyomi Takada this afternoon and one with Misa following after Takada's.
Agh. This is getting in the way of my plans.
Something like "I want you to have eyes only for me," there's no possible way for me to just say it out loud. At the conclusion of this twisted love,

Misa POV
I layed in my bed, looking up at the ceiling. Feeling bored.
Light was busy at the moment helping out L and the others with the whole Kira mystery.
So to not stress me out over that, I thought about our date later on tonight.
Oh, but I do have a photoshoot later on today. I hope it doesn't take too long.
As darkness deepens, my desire becomes unleased.
I want you to answer me right here right now.

Someone else's shadow is disappering and reappearing, so bury my body in your chest, as if you are frightened.
Narrarator POV
As the investigation wrapped up for the day, everyone went to bed.
All except L of course.
Light started to make his way towards the door.
Misa was doing her makeup and waited for her ride.
'Man, the investigation ended earlier than usual. L must need some time to himself I guess.' Light thought.
(A feeling that will never reach...)
The truth you've always wanted to find out, (The one that I truely love is...) is ny newest love relationship.

Emitting dry and dull sounds, the cogwheels are turning.)
Light's POV
I headed out of the building and called for a taxi.
I hid a piece of the Death Note in one of my jacket pockets for later use.
Minutes later, the taxi finally came. I hopped in the taxi.
"So where are you heading off to?" (Mini A/N: A few minutes of Google Mapping later.)
"Tokyo." I replied.
"That's quite a far drive from Minato donchya think?" The taxi driver asked.
I rolled my eyes. "Can you hurry up? I have a date I need to get to here." I said, getting impatient.
"Ok ok. Yeesh." The taxi driver said.
Minutes later, I finally arrived to the busy city of Tokyo.
I got out of the taxi cab and payed what I needed to pay and started heading to a local Sushi Resturaunt.
I keep on having faith in you, but now to wind up my unrequited pain.
We were supposed to love and bond with each other but it was all a deception after all
Takada's POV
After a long day of nothing but reportings of the Kira case, I got annoyed of it. But I was happy that I was being let out early today to meet up with an old friend of mine. Light Yagami.
"This is Kyomi Takada signing out. Have a nice evening, Japan." I said, looking straight at the camera.
"Aaand we're off!" My director said.
I let our a sigh of relief and got up.
I headed out of the building and went in my car and started driving to where my friend was.
A sudden phone ring brought up an entangled friendship. Patching one lie with anothe, you kept on smiling.
As I cling on to your excuses of painful desperation, my rusty heart can only slowly become paralyzed.
Narrarator POV
Light and Kiyomi eventually met up and they greeted one another then headed towards the Sushi Resturaunt.
They both had a good time. They laughed, they talked, they caught up, and they eventually departed.
It's time for Light's 2nd date with Misa.
(Are we no longer able to restore everything back to the way it used to be?
... But it was all YOUR wrongdoing, wasn't it? The one who broke our promise was also YOU.
SO NO, I CANNOT ALLOW THIS KIND OF THING TO HAPPEN.)
As our feelings intertwine in this cold room,

Takada's POV
I drove home and thought about our hangout. It went well. I smilrd and continued driving.
As I got home, I did my evening routine and went to bed.
The devil's voice has pierced into me, and it won't go away.
Now tear off your mask and show me your truth face.
Misa's POV
I headed out of my photoshoot and went to a resturaumt Light told me to meet him at. For some reason, I feel really nervous. I'm probably just worrying too much.
*Time Skip*
I finally arrived to the resturaunt Light told me to meet him at.
I looked around for him and I saw a familiar red-head.
I smiled and went over to him.
"Light!" I called out to him.
"Oh. Hey Misa." Light said.
"Ready for our date?" I asked.
"Yeah." He said.
"Great! Let's go find a table!" I said and happily went about the crowd of people.
As darkness deepens, our live will never return.
My sharply gouging knife-tip becomes soaked.
Until we pop and perish like fireworks, let's scorch each other and burn away everything
