Chapter 07

Nela's POV:

Oh... What happened? The last thing I remember was being taken away by my so called "mate". If I thought with so much disgust because he hasn't earned the right to be called that. I mean the guy kidnapped my best friend and then me. Speaking of which what happened to Kim.

I tried mind linking her but came up with nothing. I suddenly realized my surroundings. I was sit up on what looks to be a king size bed, in a room with forest green painted walls. Their was median sized dresser in the corner of and two nightstands on each sides of the bed, with lamps on both ofboth them.

I arose from the bed and quickly got on my feet. I also realized that I was only in was a long T-shirt and it had Derek's scent all over it. I didn't believe it, he took off my clothes and placed in his. Not that I don't like his scent, I just don't like him. I made my way to the door and tried the knob. Luckily, it wasn't locked and I crept out and walked into a hallway. Alright, all I have to do is find Kim and get the hell out here. I tried to followed her scent but there was not a trace of it. I tried minded linking her again, but this time I thought more loudly.

"Kim! Kim are you there you?! Answer me!" I called out hoping she would reply.

"Nela? What's wrong?" She replied a few monents after. Thank goodness.

"Where are you?! I can't find you anywhere!" I asked concerned.

"Don't worry, I with my mate." Wait, did she just use the 'M' word I must still be dreaming.

"I'll try to get to you just wait for me," I thought to her. "Then we are going to blow this hot dog stand."

"No Nela!" I was shocked to hear what Kim said. "I actually like it here and with my mate. He makes me feel... happy."

"But Kim..." The link was cut off. I was still at a lost for words but I could understand, if she was happy where she was then I didn't want to get in the way. I decided to escape on my own but I can't escape looking like this. I went back inside the room and found my suitcase in the closet. I slapped on some black jeans, a grey tank top and a pair of combat boots.

I returned to the hallway with not a soul in sight. I started walking straight down the corridor and I a right and came across a staircase. I came down the steps to find myself in what looked like a lobby. The room was big and it had two pairs of stairs, the one I came from and the opposite one. I heard some voices coming so I hid myself under the stairs. I took a peek and saw a maid and a well built man in a uniform walking up the staircase, hoping they wouldn't notice me. When I couldn't sense their presence anymore, I shifted into my wolf with my mouth. I burst through the front door and made a run for it.

I saw some guards in front of the house but I was only focusing on getting out of this territory.

"Stop!"

"Hold it right there!"

I heard voices screaming out me but paid them no mind. Just then I saw so wolf immerged from out of no where and I zipped right pass them but they were hot on my tail. Legs don't fail me now.

They were closing in on me, I tried to run faster but they were on me like live prey. Unforunately, I was pounced on and drop and slide in the ground. The wolf that had me pinned and growled at me lowly but only briefly as I saw his eyes go distand. He must be mind linking someone. I decided to eardrop.

"Alpha, the luna tried to escape but we managed to capture her," The warrior wolf said via mindlink.

"What?! Bring her back to the mansion I will be right there!" I heard a very angry Derek shot back.

Soon after that, I was surrounded by guards. Things really weren't going my way, what luck.

Derek's POV:

I was in my office completing some paper work and man was it tiring. Most people think be an Alpha is an easy job filled with action, but it not. I was about to move on to my next when I was mindlinked.

"Alpha, the Luna tried to escape but we manage to capture her." One of my guards told me. She tried to escape!

"What?! Bring her back to the mansion, I'll be right there!" I snapped.

I dropped everything I was doing and made my way to the lobby of the mansion. I couldn't believe she tried to leave me I was so hurt but I can't let her know my feelings.

"That's the reason she tried to leave you dumass!" My wolf snarled at me.

"What are you rambling on sbout now?" I questioned.

"You know what I am talking about. If you just admit your feelings to her and stopped being so fucking ignorant, maybe she would think differently." Duncan exclaimed.

"I've told you already, I have all alot of enemies, especially the one that I'm waiting to sink my fangs in." I hands balled up into fists. "I'll never forget what he did that night. I will get my revenge and that is something I can't let my mate get involved with."

With that said I shout my wolf and focus on the matter at hand, my mate. I just walked down the staircase as my men brought her back in. She tried getting out of my men hold but didn't succeed. She was a fiesty one.

"Did you have a nice run?" I asked sracasticly grabbing her from my guards. "You all can return to your posts. I can handle it from here."

"Yes Alpha." My guards bowed thwir heads repectful and left.

I grabbed Nela by her wrist and pulled her up stairs toward my room.

"Let go of me, I said let go!" She yelled at me but I flipped it off.

We near my bedroom door and pushed Nela in and lock the door behind me, I was so angry right now.

"How could you try and left me? We had a deal!" I shouted at her.

"What deal?! The you must be talking about doesn't exist anymore." She shot back. "You said you would let my friend go but kidnapped us both. So their nothing."

" Oh yes there is, me. You can't survive without me like I can't survive without you about unfortunately. You are mine and only mine." I explained. "So your only place is with here with me."

"Where ever here is." Nela said confused. "I don't even know who you are or where I am." I guess I should give her an explaination since she is going be staying here.

"I am Derek Blackmil, I am Alpha of the Bloodfang pack." I stated proudly. My mates face suddenly filled with shock when she heard what I said.

"I knew you where an Alpha but I didn't know that you were this packs Alpha. She said with disbelief and that her me be I didn't show it.
"So what now 'Alpha' you going hit for be disobedient?"

"Don't call me that!" I growled out. "Just call me Derek and don't test me. I can only keep my wolf under control for so long."

"I don't care I just want to go home," My mate plead and it was killing me I wanted to comfort her so but I couldn't make connects. This is the only way I could keep her safe.

"Look, like it or not, this is your home know. And as much as I don't want a mate," I lied I wanted her so badly. "My pack needs a Luna and I must do what's best for them. So, if not for me do it for them. They need more inspiration." I hoped that worked.

She stayed quiet for a while, silently thinking it over. She gave out a sigh meaning so was done thinking. "Fine, I'll stay but I have a few conditions."

"What kind of 'conditions'?" I arched an eye brow out of curiousity. Oh great now what.
