Chapter 10

Derek's POV:

Urg, she just drives me crazy. My head just wanted to explode.

"Yup, love will do that to you," Duncan commented.

"I already told you, I don't want her getting to close to me," I said to him. "These hands already have to much blood on them and my life is to screwed up to fix."

"You can't keep ignoring her, sooner or later we must calm her. And if I have to take over to do that, so be it," Duncan stated.

"You will not! I am in control do you hear me?!" I snapped at my wolf. "I make the decisions."

"I'm just saying, would you like to she her in the hands of another male? Loving her unconditionally? Taking what is ours?" He questioned. To be honest when I heard those words, thinking about her with someone else, I would kill the guy who would try. I let out a small growl. She is mine.

To avoid another word from him said, I blocked my wolf out. I saw what he was trying do, even though he was a little right, he will not break me. I am an Alpha.

I just thought of something. What if she went and ask Lisa about our past. I quickly minded link her, telling her not to give any details. She agreed and said that she would try.

Just then while coming out of my office I saw Nela in the lobby and saw she in a sexy dress. Oh hell no!

Nela's POV:

"Where do you think your going, dressed like that?" Came out Derek's voice.

"To the mall, didn't we already had this conversation?" I rolled my eyes.

"Absolutely not, go change now!" Did he just used his Alpha tone on me? I slapped he and stood my ground.

"Don't ever, use that voice on my again," I stated in an angry tone, more angrier than usually. I think it was not just me, but Jasmine also, mad that her mate would disrespect her. "I am the daughter of the beta from my former pack, that doesn't work on me so back off and don't do that again!"

After a few minutes of silence, looked up into his eyes and saw lust, hurt and sadness? That made my anger go away but he just smirk and walked off. What was with him?

"Awkward," Lisa sang out and then I gave the 'really?' look then she raised her hands in surrender. "What? It really was!"

"Nevermind, let's hurry up. Kim is waiting," l grabbed her hand and walked out of the masion.

We got into Lisa's car and drove to the pack house. Curious to how I was, I really wanted to know how the pack house looked. When we came up the driveway, I was stunned. THE PLACE WAS FREAKING HUGE!!! The building was at least five story high. Man it's like it could hold 300 people, it probably could. We didn't get to explore because Kim was already by the front door and she was... kissing her mate, Allen? Well I'll be a wolf's dinner.

We walked up to them without making a sound to give us away. I coughed and they slightly jumped from the sudden noise. Then they blushed turning a deep red.

"Well, well, you weren't kidding when you said he makes you happy," I joked.

"Oh shut up!" Kim shouted still blushing. "Let's just go."

"Why do you look so flustered?" I continued with the joke.

"I said, shut up Nyla!" She yelled.

"Okay, fine I'll stop," Raising my hand in surrender. "Kim I would like you to meet Lisa. She is Derek's sister."

Kim gave Lisa the stink eye, maybe she thought and that Lisa was like her brother.

"Oh, so is she a bitch like her brother?" Kim raised her eyebrow.

"Kim!" Allen yelled/whisper to her.

"No, it's okay Allen," Lisa reassured him. She just smiled. "Wow, for a girl, you got some serious balls, unlike Allen here."

"Hey!" Allen protested.

"Anyways, no I'm not like my brother," She said last part with disgusted. "Unlike him, I know how to have fun."

"Oh in that case let's get our shopping on!" Kim squealed.

She kissed Allen good bye and got in the car with us. After that not so friendly chat, we all put it behind us and Kim and Lisa quickly became friends. We got the mall and shopped wildly. Apparrently, Lisa went to a couple of packs in search of her mate, but came back empty handed. I tried asking her about her family but she always dogded the questions. So I decided to give up.

"Wow that was surprisingly a lot more fun than I thought it would be," I admitted.

"Of course it was. Stick with me kiddies, you'll learn a thing or two," Lisa boasted.

"You could learn something from us yourself." Kim add in and we all laughed.

Lisa and I dropped off Kim back to the pack house and we headed back to the house, where a very anger Alpha was. As soon as we open the door, Lisa and I heard a loud growl. Oh no, now what?

"Where have you two been? You were suppose to be back hours ago!" Derek growled out.

"Since when did we had a time limit," I stated. "What? Don't tell me you were worried about me."

"O-Of course I was. Be not for the reason you think, remember you are here to satisfy my wolf," He reminded me and I rolled my eyes.

"How could I forget, that is the one of the reasons I'm here. Isn't it?" I replied. "So if you don't mind I think I will turn in for the day."

And with that, I walked off with my bags, leaving Derek and a confused Lisa behind.
