The next morning Danny walked into the Assault vehicle or the RV and went to go lye down as he was searching for absolutely nothing last night. He plopped down onto his sleeping bag next to Jazz, she gave a groan as he did. Danny was just about to shut his eyes when his parents came bursting into the van with huge smiles on their faces. Danny shot up, bags hanging under his eyes.
"Get up kids! Its a bright new day to explore!" Maddie said gleefully.
"While we venture off into the city, we need you, Danny, to get us some supplies from that spooky ooky shop we are camped next to!" Jack said pointing towards the mystery shack. Jack remembered the moment he and Maddie entered being introduced to Stan and the monsters and entities of Gravity Falls, they were so intrigued they would just not tell the kids.
Danny tiredly got up and rubbed his eyes. He rushed into the RV's bathroom to fix his hair and try to wake himself up some more by pouring water on his face. He went out to reach into his bags and grab a new t-shirt and pants for the day. He rushed back into the bathroom and changed. He checked his hair one last time with another rub of his eyes. As he exited the RV his ghost sense went off and he growled, hunching over a bit. He watched as his parents were huddled together looking at a device while carrying ghost equipment on their backs. Danny rolled his eyes and carried on to go into the Shack.
He walked in staring at all of the fascinating things lining the walls and shelves. Nick knacks and gifts were in front of the store along with useful things. He had started walking farther back without noticing, more unusual things started to appear and the lighting wasn't helping either. He slowed a bit as he looked through the back. He started to feel a slight presence amongst him, he shivered while clenching his teeth. As he walked he found a table with a cloth and a few other things. He looked closer to see a book, with a hand that had six fingers on the cover. On the hand was the number 3 on it. He picked it up and ran his hand on the cover, feeling the details of the torn, smooth, and dusty book. He grabbed at the edge of the cover to turn it when he heard a voice,
"What are you doing back here?" A mysterious voice said. Danny fumbled with the book before setting it back down and quickly turning around to see who it was. He looked all around but didn't see anyone.
"Down here!" it said. Danny quickly looked down, it was the boy from earlier. He seemed frustrated as he had his arms folded.
"I was just umm, trying to find supplies when i wound up back here. Oops" Danny said with an awkward smile still looking around a bit more. "What did you say your name was?" Danny said trying to change the subject.
"Dipper... What does that have to do with anything?" Dipper quickly said.
"Haha, little DIpper!" Danny broke out in laughter. Dipper seemed to get angry at his comment. "And you are how old?"
"12! Technically almost a teen..." Dipper said under his breathe, hiding his face with his cap. Danny still laughed and then finally stopped and sighed.
"Well my name's Danny and I'm 14 if it makes you feel any better." He said with a smile holding out his hand. Dipper didn't take it and just stepped back a bit. Dipper quickly walked over to the table as he saw the journal, he picked it up and shoved it in his vest. He quickly gave Danny a glare before running out of the room. Danny only shrugged it off and walked out with his hands in his pockets. He came to the front with the gift shop, he walked up to a girl who had seemed like an employee as she was restocking the counter. He tapped her shoulder and she turned around. She had straight long red hair, she wore a flannel and some jeans. She smiled as she turned around, she leaned up against the counter putting her hand on her hip. Danny looked her up and down with an awkward smile.
"U-uh, i was just here to get some supplies for my parents." He said handing her the list, he rubbed the back of his neck trying not to sound like a wierdo. She looked it up and down with a smile until she read farther and her expression changed. She snickered,
"Woah dude, what are your parents? Some kind of hunters?" She asked grabbing some things from off the list.
"They're ghost hunters." He quickly said with a blank expression trying to keep his cool.
"Woah, that sounds cool man." She said with a smile finally grabbing the last few things she could find. She handed him the bags and he payed; right before Danny was about to leave the girl said something, he quickly turned.
"My names Wendy by the way," She said with a smile. "Would you like to meet me later, here at the shack? I've got somethin' cool to show you." She smiled leaning over the counter.
"Yeah, that sounds cool." He said smiling back, he quickly left the shack and put the supplies in the RV. On the other hand on the roof Dipper was listening to their whole conversation. Dipper watched Danny get all sappy over Wendy, he stuck his tongue out in disgust. Danny wasn't the one for Wendy, Wendy still had time and so did Dipper.

Danny's parents had finally gotten the stuff they needed to fix a detector. When they put it together they gathered their stuff and walked towards the woods, when they reached the brim a beeping noise emitted from the device. It showed a triangular figure in their area, they quickly rushed towards it.
What they didn't know is a triangle shape shadow appeared just as they left, but disappeared almost as soon as it came.

Dipper sat a top the roof for hours watching Danny for any mischievous behavior, but he found nothing. Only Danny talking about Wendy for the rest of the day. Finally then, the time had come for them to talk. Wendy came out of the Shack and invited him inside. Dipper suddenly heard footsteps upstairs, he panicked quickly opening the window and hiding under his bed. He made a disgusted face as he found crumpled up papers and dust bunnies everywhere. He listened closely as Wendy took Danny to the roof and they went to look through the telescope. Dipper came out from under his bed and opened the window a crack, he listened to their conversation.
Danny smiled as he was lead through the shack, then up to the roof. When they reached the roof he gazed among the stars and the whole town. Everything looked amazing, he had never of thought such a creepy town would look so nice at night. He then got interrupted by Wendy,
"So a long while ago, like a few months after summer had started, me and some of my friends wanted to hang and go break into a mini mart. We got super excited and my buddy Dipper wanted to come along, so he helped us break in and we had some real good times in there. Well that was until some really weird things started happening, some kind of old lady and old man ghosts made my friends disappear and get trapped in random things. It was really crazy dude, but that was util Dipper did something really-" She said the last few words laughing but then stopped. "Dipper did something really heroic, he beat those ghosts to a pulp and my friends were freed. It was amazing, I don't know what i would do without him." She smiled looking at the ground. Danny did a slight smile and looked through the telescope.
"So that's the place?" He asked seeing a small mini mart called, Dusk 2 Dawn. Wendy simply nodded. Danny wondered.
