That night Danny had went to the RV to grab the Fenton Thermos out of his bags. He gripped it tightly as he held it in his hand. Looking back up, Danny quickly rushed out of the RV, almost tripping himself. He jumped out and ran towards the woods without looking back. He hit bushes and branches, making them smack in his face and scratch his skin. He tried avoiding them as much as he could, but it was a forest full of brush and trees, what could he do? Once he reached his destination, he looked back at the thermos once more before yelling as quietly as he could,
"Going ghost!"
He jumped into the air as fast and as high as he could, just above the woods. He looked left and right, almost the same way as crossing the street, to look for the gas station. He had wondered if there was even a gas station at all, I mean, now that he thinks about it there could be no gas station at all for all he knew. He looked around one last time before seeing a faint light of a sign just above the trees. He floated across the street just above the gas station. He flew down, flying though the wall not seeing the two ghosts Wendy had told him about. He flew through the rest of the wall before yelling,
"Hello?" He said as quietly and as loudly as he could. He wasn't exactly scared to see what had to appear but then again she only said that it was an old man and an old lady, how scary could they be. Danny thought he had seen scarier. Danny whipped around as he heard as soda can get kicked across the floor only to see what he had heard. Looking up he saw an old man and an old lady. He had no idea if they were the old owners of the store or just people who died here or not, Wendy never told him exactly how they looked. He wanted to yell names, but that was no use either, he didn't know them. He decided just to send them back to the ghost world where they belonged just in case they caused any havoc outside of the station. He quietly went up behind them to trap them both, but as he was uncapping the thermos, it made a loud clicking noise which had gotten their attention. They swiftly turned around seeing Danny, the old man raging in shock. The wife tried to calm him down because they didn't know if he was a child or not. He didn't look very happy at all. She finally managed to get him some what calmed down as Danny waited on the ground. He stood there looking up at them with a questioning look on his face. The old lady came down and floated next to him, setting a caring hand on his shoulder.
"Oh deary me, are you a ghost too poor young boy?" Her voice a bit childish like.
"U-um, well not exactly but-." Danny said quickly, his answer not coming out quite right, luckily he was interrupted before he could finish.
"Oh my! How sad! How did you die young man?" She asked almost hugging him now. He quickly thought to himself and made up a fake story.
"Science accident, with my parents machine..." Well, it was partly true, but he didn't fully die from it. The old lady looked at him and looked like she was about to cry.
"Oh, poor boy! Your parents must've been so devastated!" She pulled him into a tight hug, which made Danny suddenly uncomfortable. He quickly slipped out of her arms and when she looked back at him she looked offended.
"Sorry, I just don't like being touched after the accident." He lied.
"Ooh." She said with a sorrowful expression.
"Or do I like ghosts like you." He quickly said pulling out the thermos and clicking the button.
"Wha-" the old man said right as him and his wife were sucked in. Danny smiled as he quickly closed and clicked the lid shut. He let out a large sigh and changed back. He walked out the door and to get out of the fenced party he turned intangible and walked through it, wiping his hands in satisfactory.
