Chapter 8

Kaila's POV

"Ok so as you know I had to help my dad out with some stuff yesterday morning and wasn't coming to school. Yeah well then I realised I had to hand in my English assignment and it had to be today and in person. So I came in for the last period of the day to hand it in. when I arrived I really needed to go to the toilet so I went and while I was in there Layla and Amber walked in and started talking about me. They were saying how pathetic I was and that I'm a lost puppy without Austin and how I'm in love with him. They felt embarrassed for me because I always go back to him when he hurts me. Anyway so they left and I was walking to English just thinking over what they said and by the time I got there class had already started and the door was locked so I just leaned against the wall and was going to wait until the end of class. So as I was waiting i took a deep breath to just calm myself and all of a sudden I smelt- you can't judge what I'm about to say ok?"

I just nodded my head, knowing that my theory was going to become fact.

"As I was saying, I smelt the most amazing scent I have ever smelt. I looked up to find its source only to fine beautiful green eyes staring straight at me, it was not until he was right in front of me that I realised it was Austin. I found it really odd that I've known him for 4 years and he has never smelt that goo or I've never been lost in his beautiful eyes. And also I was suddenly having very romantic and visual thoughts about him topless, trailing my hand along his gorgeous abs" She looked at me and gasped as I stifled a laugh.

"You are not aloud to tell anyone I said that about him ok?" she pleaded.

"Yeah yeah whatever." I winked back at her.

She sent me a playful glare and continued her story.

"Anyway, all of a sudden he had me trapped against the wall and when he touched my arm it felt like millions of tingles were erupting where he touched and traveling around my body! And when he kissed me! Oh my god, it was the most amazing feeling in the world Sky, I was so lost in how amazing it felt that I briefly forgot what he had done to me and what Layla and her minion had said about me. I opened my eyes and saw that his were pitch black! I quickly pushed him off me then slapped him and ran away."

I widened my eyes at that piece of information; if anyone slapped or disrespected the Alpha like that they would suffer serious punishment! Lucky they are mates. Also if his eyes were black it meant that he was not fully in control and was filled with lust.

Kaila must've seen my shocked expression.

"What? Why are you so shocked that I slapped him?" she questioned me with her eyebrow raised.

"It's just that no ones ever slapped him before." I replied

"Yeah well he deserved it, so back to my story." She said as she gave me a pointed look.

"Hey you're the one who stopped talking! I just made face!" I defended.

She just huffed and continued. "So I was running and he caught me and was like why are you making such a big deal out of this, I only kissed you."

Oh shit, he didn't! Kailas first kiss was very important to her. I can only imagine how angry she was after he said that.

"And then got really angry at him and told him that he hurt me so much and how much my first kiss meant to me and how much of a man whore he was. Well I didn't exactly say that but implied it I guess. Then he said how sorry he was and how much I meant to him, how he was going to do everything he could to make it up to me and he would never leave me. At this point I was crying and getting really tired. And just before I fell asleep he told me he loved me."

"Wow." I breathed out. They were defiantly mates, she experienced everything mates experience hen they find each other. She needs to forgive him and give him another chance. It won't only help Austin and the pack but it will also help her. He is the only one who will make Kaila feel whole, the only one who can love her with all his heart.

"Wow indeed." She sighed. "He also texted me last night." She said as she handed me her phone.

From Austin:

5:00pm - Hey Kaila, I brought you home after you fell asleep in the woods. I hope you don't mind but I changed your clothes because it started raining when I was bringing you home, and none of your family were home. I only changed your shirt and pants, nothing else.

5:03pm - I also just wanted to apologies for what I did at school. I was out of line and shouldn't have kissed you like I did. I am truly sorry for steeling your first kiss. If you want me to stay away, I will, but I really meant what I said in the woods and I am going to make it up to you until it kills me. Sleep well princess.

"You need to give him another chance." I blurt out.

"What!? How can you just say that without even thinking about everything he has done in the past."

"Because Kaila, I see the way he looks at you, his eyes are full of love. And he tells me how much you mean to me Kai, we talk about you and he regrets what he did so much, I feel it." I explain to her.

She suddenly glared at me. "What do you mean you talk to him and know what he's feeling?" she growled at me possessively.

I cowered away from her hard glare. Yep she is defiantly my Luna, I already feel the need to submit to her!

"Calm down Kaila, jeez possessive much?" I laughed at her.

She blushed furiously at me. "Shut up.' She mumbled at me.

"Look, I'm not interested at Austin like that. At all. But he is my friend and you are my best friend, and when someone likes you, then I'm going to talk to them and make sure they have the best intention, especially someone who has hurt you in the past. You need to trust me on this Kaila, he won't hurt you. you need to give him another chance." I told her truthfully.

I may not have talked to Austin at all about this, but I sure as hell was going to give him a piece of my mind this afternoon.

"Are you sure?" she whispered to me, "I don't know if I could handle heart break again."

"Trust me please, just give him one final chance." I pleaded.

"Ok, one final chance."
