This happens every time
Every single time
We both like him
We both talk to him
We both love him
But then,
Something changes with him
With you
You get prettier
He gets closer too you
And farther from me
He asks you out
With my help
And then
My heart breaks
It breaks into thousands of peices
Each time one of them falls for you
My heart breaks
And I have to to pick up the peices
And glue them back together
But each time my heart changes
Pieces get lost
Or put in the wrong place
And it gets smaller
And over time
It's gone
All of it
After a while
I can't feel anything but numbness
And sometimes
That numbness
Is worse than the heartbreak
