Chapter 10~ Goodness News!

I opened my eyes as I smiled widely at Di. She was still full of the same perky and overly excited smile as I looked at her. Her eyes were radiate and she had a certain aura to her like never before. As I decided to tell her the news before she burst I started to tell her. "Okay, well I should tell you that you have absolutely nothing to worry yourself with." I began as she seemed to radiate even more. She seemed so giddy as I went ahead and told her everything that I had found. "Well I looked and found something truly sweet. Turns out things go both ways with you two. As when I went snooping inside of his mind you were within not only his conscience mind but, also unconscious mind as well. I been he is full on Uvula over Pancreas for you!!" Di squealed as the peppy cheerleaders back on Earth had done. I giggled as she then looked at me dazed and utterly confused, "Wait, What does that last part mean?" I giggled as I translated my cursed new found knowledge and responded, "He's head over heels for you." She sighed with a "oh" then went ahead and squealed again. I covered my ears as she did so and Thea walked in doing the same.

"I see she has shown you her excelent vocal chords in a less than pleasurable way." Mum said as I nodded and Di stopped gushing over the news. "Sorry Thea" but, you're briliant daughter used her powers for good and helped me resolve my decades old delemma. Mum blushed as she looked as me and suscpected, "Paul?" Thea questioned as both Di and I nodded as mum took a seat on the bench beside Di. "No only did you have me put all my knowledge of both guys and relationships to your use but, now my daughter snooping within peoples' heads? Really Di?" I snubbed Di with a slight laugh as Di just nodded to mum. "It was really nessicary Thea, as we went shopping today and it nearly killed me to see him, well as him and not burst at the seams." Mum just laughed as she nodded and asked to pull me away for a bit. Di just shooed me away as she said, "I have some plotting to devise". Me and mum just giggled as she and I walked through one of the assorted halls.

We began to walk through what I had come to known as the 'Service Hall', where all of the staff worked in the kitchen and laundry among all else. Mum brought up why she had to snatch me away from Di. "Well seeing as tonight and tomarrow is your last time here for the week, your grandfather and I have a surprise for you." She spoke soft as I could sense the smile in her voice. I knew that it had to be good as the tone of the smile was cheery and awfully clear as mum and I walked to the end of the hall. I began to guess if it was some super powered weapon or ultimate fairy device when I saw grandfather. We had entered the grand study where he and mum Di most of the paperwork and business when I saw a familiar face. "Jonathan!" I shouted as I squealed and ran to him. He was standing slightly hidden by grandfather as I went to him. He wrapped his arms tightly around me and I felt the strength in his muscular arms wrap around me. "What are you doing here? I thought I wouldn't see you in another day or so!?" I said so excited that I was gasping for breath and tripping on my words. "Actually it was a plan your grandfather came up with. As once you had actually beat him during your training he felt you deserved a gift." I laughed as I turned around to face Zeus. He just shrugged with a smile and looked at me. "I figured if my granddaughter could take on all three of us training as well as spend that much time with Aphrodite, you deserved some relief from things." I giggled as I looked at my very confused Jonathan. "I'll tell you about her later..." I whispered as the confusion faded and Thea and grandfather led off. "So you have the option of roaming the landscape and the palace or to go out on the city." Thea finished as I looked at John, "Lets go out on the city. Sorry guys but, the palace sights get a bit dreary after a while." Mum nodded as did grandfather. "Completely understandable" grandfather trailed off as he excused himself for some last minute business. Once he left mum informed me, "You two have free reign of the carriages as well as expenses. Go ahead and have some fun!"

She paddled out as she rushed me and John down the hall. The two of us laughed finally trailing down the hall back towards the foyer. "Happy to see me?" John asked as we reached the fire pit and surrounding island table with benches. "That really is the worst question you've ask me, you know that right?" I replied as I leaned in towards him. Putting one of my hands on either side of his face I stared into his eyes. "You really don't get it do you?" I told him as he smirked and shook his head. Knowing that he was starting to catch on I leaned forward to him. I brushed my nose against him as I could tell his breath was quickening. I moved in closer to him where I could feel him breathing heavy. I looked at him with a great big smirk on my face as I came so close we touched. His soft warm inviting lips against mine I could feel my heart melt as I knew his was too. The thoughts of how much I longed for his kiss again and to be within his arms once more escaping my head. He was here. I was here. Together we were finally united again, soon to be happily married. Pulling away, I set my head on his. I looked into his eyes and responded to his initial question, "I am extremely happy to see you." I said smiling as he just moved his head from mine. "I figured but, what did you miss most? My devilishly good looks, my charm, smile?" I elbowed him in his arm as we began to walk towards my room as I had to chance out of my one shoulder romper. "Actually, all of it. Just you being at my side every minute of the day."  "Oh, really is that all I am to you? Arm candy?" John replied full of sarcasm. I laughed as we ended up before my room. "No not at all John! You aren't just that and once we are married I will show you otherwise. But tonight I want to show you around. Lets go downtown to the city. From there we can go anywhere in the world through the access portal. I'm taking you to Paris. We'll eat a few snails, roam around moonlit streets, go see a ballet performance, and end the night with a kiss on top of the Eiffel Tower." John gave me a sort of look. "No, yes, no,yes" he said as I looked at him confused. "Huh?" I asked as I walked over to the wardrobe hutch and looked back at him. He was sitting on my four post gold and ivory bed as he responded. Walking up to me he wrapped his arms from behind and set his head in the nook of my neck. "No thanks on the snails and the ballet performance. However I will treat you to the best night of your life. The best first 'date' we've had." I nodded as I tilted my head to look at him "Alright, so what should I wear for this 'perfect date' that you have all schemed up." John hummed in my ear before opening the wardrobe cabinet. Taking a couple of seconds John then pulled out something. It was the sweat-heart, beaded one shoulder emerald and deep navy blue shimmer gown. Fitted throughout and with a mermaid bottom which flairs out at the knees and gathered to one side with a crystal accent. Along with my platform crystal Louboutin pumps that Di picked out for me. Surprisingly they were pretty comfortable which is why she wore them all the time. "Oh, and I do believe that 'Di' gave me another gift for you. In order to thank you for what you helped her out with." I gave him sort of an odd look as he held up a Cartier bag and a set of old skeleton keys. "What is that for?" John smirked as he lowered the items and shooed me off to get dressed. I did as he wanted and began to undress. Teasing him to tell me what he had planned for the evening I undressed near the bed where he had gone to take a seat and I took off my romper. Beneath was my black satin and lace strapless bra and pantie set. I could tell that he was having a bit of trouble keeping his eyes off of me. I reached for the dress as I unzipped it as I stepped into it and pulled it up. I held it up against my chest and walked over to John. "Could you zip me up?" I asked as he just shook his head with a smirk on his face. "You know how to torture me you know that right?" He asked as I just smirked back at him and nodded. He zipped me up taking his time as I knew he had finished. Although I felt his touch still as hands caressed my sides. Starting from my shoulders I he slid his hands down my figure. Sliding down from my shoulders he went down to my elbows before switching to my waist. Then I felt him slither down to my hips when I put my hands on his. I turned around as I looked at him. He had a soft and sweet smile on as I looked at him. I noticed he had conjured himself with his all black suit with a few of the top buttons of his black dress shirt undone. "So what are we going to be doing tonight?" I asked as he just gave me a sly grin. "Finish primping, then we'll leave." Was all he said as I just shrugged and went ahead to fetch my shoes. I slipped them on and let my hair free from the scrunchy it was in and shook out my loose waves. Finishing things off I just put on a bit of gloss and a splash of fragrance before turning back to John. "Alright, I'm ready. Now tell me where we're going or what the keys and Cartier bag is for?"

 I asked as John just shook his head. "Don't you be worrying your gorgeous self. As the Cartier bag is your custom made wedding jewels which were a plan between our mothers. Then the keys well they are to our wedding present from your training trio. Along with what we will be doing this evening." The two of us stepped out of the bedroom and into the stone tiled hall. We walked down the corridor as my stilettos clattered in and echo against the floor. I looked at John sort of dazed in confusion as he kept me begging for further explanation. "Well beside the obvious fact that you have your wedding attire now complete, our gift is a part of the wonderful evening I have planned for us. Because our gift is a French castle which is only a small distance from the city and the lovely Effile Tower. So I figured you and I could take a fairly long stroll along the high hedged and lovely green trimmed floral paths before making a stop at the tower. Spending some time together at the top enjoying the view I figured at midnight I could end the day with a touch of our lips and retreating back to our new manor hidden within the rolling fields of the Parisian countryside for a romantic evening." I blushed at the fact that I was going to see the Tower and go to Paris. I had seen some of the landscape in "The Devil Wears Prada" and instantly knew I had to go there some day. I then looked back at John whose fingers were knitted with mine as are arms were locked together as well. He was leading me down the hall as we met the empty foyer.

"Okay, so how are we going to leave?" I asked him courious as to how we would escape the world to the other. "Well you should know me better by now. I always have a plan." He told me with a wink and then swayed his free arm through the air before us. Show off. I thought to myself as I knew he still had to show me how to do that. As I scolded John in my head, the two of us began to disintegrate into small particles of shimmer.

Next stop Paris...

Okay, so sort of a short chapter guys. Sorry it was longer but, I was trying to publish after like two hours of writing and WP froze my text screen. So I couldn't copy and paste to post within a refreshed window and I had to re-type most of the chapter. So like again I apologize but,I promise next chapter will be really sweet and romantic!!
