Chapter 5

"Thanks for the buisness." I said to a man as he backed out of the Garage. The sun was setting and I was about to close up shop when, unexpectedly, my friend Gajeel pulled into the driveway.

"Hey. I have something interesting for ya." He said.

"And what's that? Maybe some competition for the game tonight?" I joked.

"Ha! That's a good one. Phantom's gonna kick your ass good!" Gajeel said.

"You don't even play soccer, you may go to that school, but show some support for your friend here!" I joked.

"Whatever flame head. Anyways, I got the body of a car for ya. You fix it, you keep it. One time deal." Gajeel said.

"No shit? Damn, I guess I don't have much of a choice then." I said as I walked to the back of the truck. Gajeel opened up the back of the truck and I saw the body of the car. "Oh... Wow. I can DEFINETELY work with this." I smile at the sight of the car.

"Good, get this piece of shit off my truck and show me the final results when you're done." Gajeel commanded.

"Got it." I said as I got to work getting the body of the car off of the truck.

By the time I finished getting the car off of Gajeel's truck, it was time for me to leave for the game. I thanked him, got into my soccer uniform and hauled ass to the stadium. I pulled into my usual parking space. I set one foot out of the car and I was instantly swarmed by girls from school, girls from Phantom Lord, and even the local news channel press. I had no idea this was gonna be on TV! Pictures were being taken one after another, the flashes of the camera were so frequent it felt like one giant white light beaming down at me! I felt like an actual celebrity.

"We're back at the championship game between the famous Fairy Tail Academy's Dragon Slayers, and Phantom Lord's Reapers. We just talked to Fairy Tail's team and now the team Captain has arrived!" The news press lady said. A rather large microphone found its way to me through the crowd. "We now stand before Fairy Tail's star captain, Natsu Dragneel. Care to share your thoughts?" The lady asked.

"My thoughts? I don't think about these things. It's an obvious fact that we're gonna kick some major butt and keep our place as the champion!" I replied.

"That was the confident, Natsu Dragneel from Fairy Tail Academy! Now a few words with some of the fans!" The news cast walked off to the stands. I made my way through the crowd and into the locker room. The team looked at me and cheered. I was instantly swarmed by them.

"These bastards thought you were gonna skip out." Gray laughed.

I smiled back at him. "Alright team, gather around." I ordered. The team all huddled around me. "Alright, time to show these losers what we're made of. When we get to the goal, if you don't have a clear shot, pass it to me and I'll get the job done. I may be the most valuable player, but I can't do this without my team. So how about we get out there and kick some major Phantom Pawn ass!" I said enthusiastically. The team cheered and seemed pumped from my speech. We all ran out of the locker rooms and onto the field. "Alright guys, see those posers with the gray jerseys on? Pick a guy and stick to him. If you want to switch, shout out one of our players numbers and switch. Got it?" I asked strictly.

"Yes captain!" They shouted.

"What was that?!" I asked even louder.

"YES CAPTAIN!" The team shouted loudly. The sound booming through the open stadium.

"Dragon twice and Slayers on the third!" I held my hand out and the team put their hands on mine. I looked at Gray next to me. He smiled at me to which I returned. I took a deep breath

"Dragon!"
"Dragon!"
"Slayers!"

The team shouted as we moved to our positions on the field. Phantom Lord's team also moved to their positions. I waited for the referee at the kickoff. I looked in the stands and to my shock I saw Lucy in the front row, looking straight at me with interest!

Hey everyone! I finally got an update in!!!!!!! I'm going to do the soccer game next chapter. For once I'm actually put some thought into something. I'm going to come up with plays and do my best to describe them as their being preformed. Keep in mind I don't even have basic knowledge of Soccer, so don't hate on me if it's not accurate. Just remember, this is just for fun! Not a nonfictional book on how the game of soccer is played! Anyway, thanks for reading, I'll try to get more updates out as I go because I'm kinda excited for this soccer game! I already have a few great ideas for some plays. Alright, I'll see you all in the next chapter!
