Chapter 11

"What's with you all of a sudden?!" I asked as we pulled into my driveway.

"You asked." She said as we got out of the car and into my house.

"When did I ever ask the question "Hey Lucy, can we fuck?" Did you ever hear that come out of my mouth?!" I asked humorously.

"We gonna do this or not." She asked as she took off her jacket.

"This is crazy." I mumbled. I walked over to her and picked her up. I laid her on the couch and pinned her down. Just as I was about to kiss her, Gajeel barged through the door.

"Natsu, this is crazy! Oh hey Lucy. Anyways, there's this car show and some guy is bragging all about how good his car is. He's beaten everyone in a drag race down there! Get your ass down there!" Gajeel said before running out the door.

We both look at each other and started laughing. "I'm assuming you want to go to that show and show that guy what's up?" Lucy asked.

"Well, I would... but." I gestured towards her.

"We can do this later." She laughed. "Let's get going!"

I smirked and grabbed my keys that I set on the counter. I put on my pants and my chains, I didn't bother putting my shirt back on. Lucy put her shirt and her jacket back on. I headed to the car along with Lucy to my usual place.

There was a crowd of people but as I pulled into the bar, the crowd made way as I pulled through. I drove up next to a car that I've never seen before. "You the guy making all of this commotion?" I asked him.

"I guess, if you'd call this commotion. This place is a dump. Am I gonna win some more money?" He asked.

"You don't really seem worth it, but what the hell, why not?" I let Lucy out of the car and I looked back. I motioned my friend to me and I gave him a stack of $100's. "$5,000 down on my win." I smirked at the guy as I peeled out and waited in the street's straightaway.

He scraped together all of his money and followed me out and revved his engine. One of the guys stood between both of our cars and raised his arms. Once he signaled the race we both blasted off. He had less wheelspin on his car so it flew of the mark faster. I was right behind him and catching up fast. Just as he was about to pass the line, I passed him and beat him to the line by a whole car length. Once again I won another race.

"You had to have used nitrous or something!" The man shouted.

"It's not my fault you Car's all launch, no speed. What were you doing? 160?" By the look of the man's face when I said that, I knew I was right. "Add another 50 to that and you'd have won."

"Hmph, getting arrogant?" He asked angrily.

"I've earned my right to be arrogant when I crossed that line before you. Learn to accept a loss without blaming the other person for something they didn't do." I said before I drove off, back towards the bar.

The bar patrons cheered as I drove back. They were happy that I got rid of that guy. I stopped and picked Lucy back up, after I retrieved my cash winnings, $8,700.

"I've never actually seen you race before, that was incredible!" Lucy said.

"Thanks babe." I replied, I gave Lucy a swift kiss before I began to drive home.

"Hey, Natsu." Lucy said.

"What's up?" I responded.

"I never really wondered before, but how do you drive a car like this?" She asked, pointing to the gear box in the center console.

"Oh, manual? I'll show you when we get home. I'll have Gajeel drop off a car." I said as I picked up my phone. Gajeel was on speed dial. "Gajeel, do me a solid!" I said.

"Whatcha need? A free tow to pick up your junked car on the side of the road?" He joked.

"No, this car won't break down on me. I need you to drop off a working car, manual transmission." I requested.

"Sure, as long as I get it back!" He said before he hung up

I set my phone down. "Okay, we're all set Luce." I told her.

She suddenly kissed my cheek. "Thanks." She replied.

We made our way home and we saw the car. "We'll start tomorrow." I told her. She nodded her head in approval.

Hey people, thanks for reading. The next update, I'm not going to write out how to drive a manual transmission car. If you want to know how, just DM me but I'm not going to write it in the story, mainly cuz I really don't see how I can write that part without it being super boring.

Also, for the people who wanted a lemon, sorry lol. I probably lost a reader or two XD. I simply CANNOT write stories that describe sex! Sure, I can read them, I just can't write them! At the most, I'll indicate that it "happened" but I won't write it out. It's just an issue I have.

That, and my grandmother reads my stories. I'd rather not have a "talk" with her about "urges".

So, now that I explained my issues with lemons, I hope you all will not expect a lemon anytime soon. Maybe someday Lol
