Okay I know this doesn't really matter because it's YOUR OWN choice. But I guess I should give you advice on it since its a major deal in any book.
So what I've noticed from reading fanfics or any book is that the main character names are very cliche or overused!
Now I know we pick names that are easy to remember or simply because it comes to mind in a second. But I'd advise you to dig deeper and use names that are unique and not heard of.
Everyone goes with Alex, Ariana, Emily, Ashley etc which gets confusing if you're reading two books with the same name for the main character.
I'll give you a list of names to use if you want to use some.
Girls:
Lydia,
Safire
Violet,
Summer
Trina,
Milea
Bonnie
Talia
Haven,
Zara (Zaria)
Boys:
Cody
Stiles
Jordan
Cole
Brody
Dylan
Isaac
Dash
Hunter
Joey
Hope that would give you some idea on how to make your MCs unique and memorable.
