When morning broke Karma was woken by Chauncey who lightly shook her awake. He whispered to her that they will be leaving soon and to be ready for departure.

"Soon?!" Karma had sprung up but only groaned in pain as her hands were still cuffed together and halted to the chain.

"Yes soon," Chauncey tried to calm her down so he could help her up. "Stop struggling."

Karma finally seized her movements and kept still as Chauncey had lifted the chain above her head and helped her to her feet.

"There, better?"

"Slightly," she noted towards the cuffs and chain that snagged at her wrists.

"You know I can't do that," Chauncey told her.

Bruce and Nikoli had begun the demolish of the shelter they had built and scattered the pieces around the forest.

"Alright we ready," Bruce called out to them all.

"No," Karma said to him as a smart ass.

"Too bad, we need to get you there so you can be checked by Rosa," Bruce smirked.

Karma sighed then felt her chain be tugged by Chauncey. Her signal to follow him down the path. She began to walk slowly but still stayed far from them as possible as she could.

The path went from rocky earth, to smooth flowing creek they crossed. It felt like an hour and thirty of them walking.

Once in a while they would stop for a water break and rest their feet and legs. When those were allowed Chauncey would have Karma drink water and double check if she was ok.

"Just the cuffs bothering me," she hinted again.

Though he would refuse to release her from her bounded chains.

"Shush it," Nikoli called out. "We are almost there. Oh I can smell that welcoming dinner!"

Karma felt the chain be tugged once more and then had returned to the journey to this new place. They walked for another twenty minutes before they began to see a dark painted house in the distance.

"See that house," Chauncey asked Karma.

"Yes," she uttered.

"That is Rosa's home, she will check you once we have entered her home."

"Is this where my old life dies?"

"This is where you regret ever leaving your family," Chauncey sadly told her.

"I did ever since I believed you injured." She hissed at him as he sighed.

The rest of the journey was in silence wen they began to see the house closely. The house was painted a dark maroon while the roof was painted black. The windows had the same black paint to match the roof as the same for the back door. It had a simple rose carved within the door but other than that, that was all.

To reach the back door they had to grow through the back fence. The deer fence was high above them, the gate to go through was slightly shorter but still needed a key to open from the cage to the forest.

Bruce pulled out the said key and opened the fence door and watched everyone go through the threshold.

Then with a clank it was closed and locked for good. That was the beginning a new Karma.
