Iris' P.O.V.
Ugh, I can't wait for the school day to end. Then let the weekend begin, we're met to be visiting Grandpa and the others at S.T.A.R Labs. My train of thought was disrupted by the bell.
Hallelujah.
My phone started beeping; Dad or as most people call him, Wally West AKA The Flash. "Hi Dad!" I greet with a smile even though he can't see me. "Hey Sweetie, make your way home quickly or we'll be late" he replied. "Yea, Yea, I know, see ya soon, Dad!" "Bye sweetie". I ran out of the school and down my usual shortcut ally and began to run. That's when it happened, I ran at superspeed, straight into a wall. I got up and hit another wall at high speed. But the next time I stood up I ran in circles. It wasn't stopping and I couldn't control it.
The next thing I remember was darkness, everything turned black and when the darkness stop, I woke up in National City. To be more specific, in Kara Danvers apartment.
It's been three years since I lost everything and ended up in this universe. I'm now 16 and working as an intern at CatCo. I live with Kara Danvers, the person who found me (well I say found but I mean I woke in HER apartment so she didn't have to look far). Kara told me about her powers and explained her story. I did the same. She help me control the speed, keep it in line. We confide in each other and keep our powers out the equation for everyday life.
We want to be normal, but maybe that's not always going to be a choice.
