Three Trouble Makers

Chapter 9

Luna's POV
We just stepped outside Lily's house and looked towards the street. No imperials in sight, for now at least. "Ezra can you sense anyone that's close to us?", I asked. I could sense it myself but I'm still too weak to use the force at the moment. Ezra replies back, "No I can't sense anything." Then Lily joins in the conversation, "Yeah, from what I sense they're long gone by now."

Ezra and I looked at each when she finished her sentence and we looked back at her. "Lily how long have you had these feelings?", I asked her. She looks around then back at us and says, "Um... I don't know. A couple weeks maybe. Why?" Again Ezra and I looked at each other wondering if we should tell her now or later. But we soon realized it can wait until we get upon the Ghost. To answer Lily's question, Ezra just says, "Just curious. We'll talk more about it when get back to our ship." She nods and we started heading forward.

We walked for what it seemed like an hour and I haven't seen the Ghost yet and I've seen the same buildings a few times now. "Ezra are you sure you know where we're going?", I asked. "Pretty sure. I mean we left it at east right?", he says. "Wait east? Ezra we parked it south.", I said. He faces palms and mumbles something under his breath. "Great now how are we going to get back home. It's dark now.", I said crossing my arms. "I don't know but will think of something.", he says. I turned around to talk to Lily who has been behind me since we started walking. She was looking at something so I went over to her to see what it was, it was the center of the market place from earlier. "When you guys came to town you came from the north. So if we can just go back to where we met, we can just go up north and there's you're ship."

Her logic would work, I mean it's better than to argue about the direction all night then be yelled by Kanan and Hera. Ezra, Lily, and I started walking there so we can find our way back. Lily suddenly comes to a stop, I signal Ezra to pause for a bit. He looks at me confused as to why, then sees Lily looking down and up as if she's waiting for something to happen. "Lily what's wrong?", I asked. She doesn't answer then suddenly she pushes me and Ezra to cover behind some empty crates to escape blast shots coming from above.

"What is this like the third time she saves us from blasters?", Ezra asked sarcastically. I lightly punched in the chest then asked, "I thought you said you didn't sense any imperials close to us?" Ezra was just baffled and didn't say anything. Lily got one of her blasters out and started shooting from the side of our cover. "These aren't bucketheads we're dealing with.", Lily said as she came back under. "Well then who are they?", I asked. "It's a bounty hunter named Jean. She doesn't mess around when you get in her way.", Lily replied. "Let me guess you got in her way.", Ezra said. Once again I punched for trying to be a smart but and rolled my eyes at him. I started to shoot up the rooftops with my blaster to see if I get lucky. We might have cover but so do these people.

"You guys need to go. I'll give you guys some cover so you guys can get out of here.", Lily said as she leaned back on the crate. "Wait. What about you?", I asked with a little concern in my voice. She doesn't answer me, she just shoots more blast on the rooftops. I grab her by the shoulders and asked her again, "What about you?" She grabs me hands and says, "I'll get away from her somehow. You guys just focus on getting back to your crew." My strength comes back and I can sense that she has no idea what's she going to do when we leave. She only cares about saving us the trouble. Ezra steps in and says, "We're not leaving you behind to let you face this on your own." She tries to change our minds, "I don't want you guys to get hurt because you tried to protect me." I jumped into the conversation, "Too bad. Cause we're going to help you through this whether you like it or not." Again she tries to make us run while we still can, "But Luna..."  She was cut off when Ezra said, "No! You're stuck with us, we're not leaving you."

She sighed but soon got over the fact that we were staying with to help her through this. "Okay, but if we do this then we do it my way." Ezra and I nodded and he took out his lightsaber/blaster ready to shoot. "Most of her henchmen won't stay with her, so you two will run the right side separating most of them while I take out the rest from up top." Ezra and I nodded at our parts ND got ready to run."

"You ready to run Luna?", my brother asked. I replied back with, "Oh yeah!" The two of went out and street shooting and the henchmen. Soon enough they start blasting at us and Ezra and I make a run for it leaving some of them to chase us. Hopefully this will help Lily with the problem.
