His hands cup Ana's cheeks, fingers sliding into her soft hair and she can't help but gasp at the sudden action when their foreheads press together, the space so small between them that if Jasper leaned down just a little bit more their lips would c...

It wasn't surprising when the Swan sisters saw that the airport on the outskirts of Port Angeles wasn't crowded but what was surprising was the fact that they saw Charlie Swan before they had to wait ten minutes. They were used to their father being late and the oldest sister was happy to know that setting his clock around five minutes faster was actually working.
Anastasia Swan jumped into her father's arms when she was close enough to him, dropping her luggage behind her leaving her twin sister, Bella to pick it back up as she glanced awkwardly at the pair.
"Hey sugarplum!" He laughed after squeezing her into his chest, kissing the top of his eldest daughters' head.
She let go of him and gently grabbed her bag from her twins' grasp and looked just in time to see Charlie giving Bella an awkward one armed hug, Bella saying, "Hey Charlie."
Ana winced at the first name of her father and sighed at the temporary tension before patting their shoulders as she walks towards the exit, instantly spotting the cop car her father owned.
It was obvious that Ana was closer to her dad than Bella was. She visited more, every chance she got she would fly from Phoenix to Forks. Bella only came for one week in the summer every year, this leading to a first name basis between the two.
The only reason Bella had come this time was because she felt obligated to. Their mother, Renée just got married again and their step father, Phil has a job where he travels a lot, way to much in Ana's opinion but she kept that to herself. Bella didn't want to keep her mom restrained and let her go with Phil while she came to live with her father in the rainy town of Forks.
"It's not that I don't love this car because I totally do," Ana started, sarcasm evident in her voice and she quickly got in the passenger seat so she didn't have to face the bars that separated the front from the back. Charlie is Police Chief Swan to the good people of Forks. She refused to be driven around town in a car with red and blue lights on top. Nothing slows down traffic like a cop.
Bella huffed.
Charlie buckled up and started the engine, raising an eyebrow at Ana as he pulled out of the parking lot. "Is my car at home already?"
Charlie nodded after a few moments of silence and Ana clapped her hands in joy, moving across the equipment between them and kissing his cheek.
Bella stayed quiet and Ana frowned momentarily before moving her hand down, behind the seat.
Bella's lips pulled up at the corners, two dimples that matched Ana's appearing when she saw her sisters hand wiggling in front of her. She took it immediately, needing the comfort and the two rested their heads simultaneously against the windows to their right, Ana rubbing small circles over Bella's knuckles.
