The Meet

Dexter's POV

"You will leave in the morning." Grimm said. I nodded. He then got up from the stool and left. I was alone in the cold, dark cell. I couldn't see much. But then, there was a flicker of light. A flicker of purple light. Then a voice came from the corner of my cell. I moved closer to the voice. The voice kept whispering, "De-ext-eer......" I reached my hand out and felt the rim of metal. I moved my hand all around the object. It was a mirror. Maybe it's Raven's mom's mirror. A chill went down my spine. I touched the glass. I saw a figure, a dark figure nearing my hand. The figure touched the glass, then there was a shock.
"Ouch!" I yelped, in pain. My hand was bright red.
"What just happened?!" I asked myself, confused.
The figure in the mirror now was clear as day. I knew who it was. The Evil Queen.
"What do you want?" I asked. She grinned like the Cheshire Cat. Is it just me or does everyone who is evil, smiles like Kitty's mom?!
"To help you. You need to leave tonite to find Raven. If Grimm kills her, I'll make sure he and the Whites suffer, and YOUR family, dearly." she had anger in her eyes. My eyes widened. I nodded.
"Grimm won't kill Raven, I promise you, My Queen." I replied, with confidence, for once. She looked like she was thinking of a plan. Surprisingly, The Evil Queen is not that bad.
"Make sure you can keep your promise. I'll be watching it all. I have something for you. Touch the glass." She smiled. I didn't know if I could trust her fully.
"I don't know......, from Raven's experience, I don't think that's a good idea." I hesitated. She rolled her eyes.
"I'm not trying to escape, but being in here is horrid! You try not seeing the world for a decade! Plus I can't get out of this prison in my full form." she complained.
"Ok, but you better not be lying. I trust you, and I know no one trusts you." I warned. She looked at me sternly with a raised eyebrow.
"Now touch the glass. We don't have much time." she replied. I touched the glass. She turned around and made a new figure that was the same as her. I gasped and tried to get my hand off the mirror, but it was stuck. I don't know how but this wasn't good. I knew what she was up to. She was trying to escape. 
"What are you doing?!?!" I panicked.
"I'm helping you. I'll be watching over you two." she replied, like I should know. She touched the glass, I closed my eyes, and there was a blast of magic & light in the dungeon. I fell back on the ground and hit my head. When I looked around it was dizzy, then the room went dark.

Cerise's POV

Hunter, Cedar, Maddie, Ashlynn and I were running through the enchanted forest. We were going to meet Raven. It was part of the plan the day before Legacy Day Re-do at lunch.
"Are we close?" Cedar asked. I looked back at her.
"We should be there in a couple of hours." I replied. We've been running through the forest for hours. If Raven didn't run far enough, Grimm would have captured her. After what she told us at lunch the other day, we knew this would happen. We just had to figure out how to get past Grimm without getting thrown into the dungeon, just like Dexter.
"Can we take a break?!" Hunter asked, panting.
"Maybe we should take a break, we need our energy for the rest of the trip."  I agreed. Everyone stopped and we found a tree with a open tunnel underground. It was my tree. Where I would hang with my friends and do whatever I want in secret. We all slid down the wood slide.
"Watch your heads." I warned. We were all inside the trunk. It actually had a lot of space and you were able to stand up all the way. When you have claws, they come with advantages.
"Anybody have an idea why Grimm didn't go after Raven himself?! He has powers!" Cedar asked, pretty confused with the situation.
"We should go back to the school and burn the Storybook!" Maddie exclaimed, excitedly. We all looked at Maddie with confused faces.
"Uhh......, maybe later. But that's on our second agenda. We still need to figure out what's going on with Apple and Raven." Hunter said. Then, we heard a loud, rustling noise. I retracted my claws, and the person who came down the slide, I couldn't believe my eyes!
"Raven!" We all chorused, and Maddie jumped on top of her.
"Hey guys!" Raven exclaimed.
"What are you doing here?!" Ashlynn exclaimed.
"Well, I thought why make you guys run 2-3 more hours to find me, when I could come here!" Raven exclaimed. I suspected Raven was hiding something.
"Rav, what's the REAL reason you came here?!" I asked, suspicious. Raven's face turned from happy to a worried look.
"I came here cause it's safer than running on foot. Grimm doesn't know about this place, even if it's guarded by magic, he could never find it." Raven sighed.
"And if I kept running, I would've been captured, and be no help." Raven explained. I hugged her.
"It's ok, Rav. We knew something like this was going to happen. But how was it possible if you were darkened by the power, you ran away when the guards came after you?!" I asked. She shrugged.
"I'm not sure. I guess I still had some light in me. And now, I'm still me. When I use my powers, my dark side comes out. I pretty sure that's how it works." Raven explained.
"Not to be rude, but shouldn't we make a plan to stop Grimm?! I heard from my animal friends, that Grimm threatened to kill Raven and Dexter, if Dexter doesn't bring her back to him. We have to do something!" Ashlynn exclaimed. Hunter hugged her, reassuringly.
"What?! Dexter isn't going to do that right?!" Raven worried, with widened eyes.
"He will do it to save you. He'll never forgive himself, if he lets you die at the feet of Grimm. He'll have to do it. Every single prince, even cowardly ones, have to save their true love from harm." I said, confidently. Raven gave me a raised eyebrow.
"You never use words like that. Who did you here it from?" Raven asked, teasing.
"No one!.........., It was Cedar." I confessed. We all laughed. We haven't done that for what seemed like ages.
"Anyways, it's fun to laugh but we don't have a plan. " Hunter said, warily. We all stopped and got serious.
"We have a plan." A voice said quietly. We all turned around to see who said that. I gasped. The group gasped.
