Hearts are Shattering

Evil Queen's POV

I finally am free of the the prison, well sort of. I was in spirit form. I saw my darling daughter's "true love" on the ground, unconscious. Perfect. Now once I takeover his body, I can stop Grimm! And takeover Ever After High!! "Hahahahaha!" I cackled.
I heard a moan from the boy. I floated towards him. He started to move, and sat up, touching his head.
"Ah... What happened?!" Dexter mumbled, confused. He then looked up. He gasped.
"Y-ou?! How?! I set you free?! What do want with me?!?!" He asked, horrified.
"To have your body." I smiled.
"Why?!" He asked.
"To control every part of you, to possess you, to make you do everything I want." I smiled a devious smile, only this time I had dark glowing eyes. I felt good and powerful! Soon I'll have it all! It was getting close to morning.
"You need to get some rest before we leave. Oops! I mean you leave."
"No! Please don't do this! There has to be another way!!!" Dexter yelled, begging.
"Well, there is, but this way is much more....fun!" I cackled. Then I entered his heart. Where it will shatter most.

Dexter's POV

The Evil Queen got into my heart. It was hurting all over. She was consuming me with dark powers. I tried to resist. I couldn't fight back. She was much more stronger than me. She was taking over me. I was going to be her slave now. I couldn't let go.
"Ahhhhhhhh!!!!" I yelled, feeling her corrupt my heart, my soul, my mind.
She had shattered my heart *not literally.* I felt my mind slip away under her dark spell. I felt my need to please her, to fill out her commands. She was my master now, and I was her slave, under her mind control. I fell back asleep.
It was morning. Sunlight shined through the glass windows of the dungeon. I woke up to a voice.
"Dex-terr.....time to wake up...." My Queen said. Then I heard a booming voice. It was Grimm. He came walking down the stairs. He came into my cell, checked the mirror, and looked at me.
"Your time has come to leave. Remember what I said about you and Raven." He warned. I nodded.  I got up and waited for him to let me go. He nodded, and unlocked the cell door. I walked out and went up the stairs. I made sure no one saw me.
"My Queen, which direction do you want me to go?" I asked for advice. She started to speak to me.
"Go towards the Enchanted Forest. That was where Raven ran off to. When we get there, I'll include you with the rest of the directions." She told me. I followed my orders. I was now on the path of my quest. To fill out my queen's orders to find Raven.

Evil Queen's POV

Poor Dexter, my little slave. He is completely under my power. He only obeys me. It is so wonderful! I can control him to do what ever I want. I just have to make sure Raven, my dearest daughter, doesn't figure it out.
I continued to control Dexter onto his path to the Enchanted Forest. Ugh! Too much fairytale goop too me. I rather be in the Dark Forest but that's not the way to Raven. We've made it. Finally.

Ashlynn's POV

It was already morning. We all stayed awake. Except for me, I was tired and I fell asleep. Then I was woken up by someone. Who said they had a plan?! I turned around to see what the group was gawking at. It was Poppy, Cupid, Kitty, and Lizzie. Oh my Hex!
"Cupid! I've missed you so much!" I ran up to her, giving her a big hug. She was startled a little, but got used to it.
"What are you guys doing here?!" Maddie asked, confused.
"Remember? We asked you guys earlier what was going on. And then later yesterday, we saw you guys running in Raven's past direction." Poppy explained. We all turned to look at Raven. She was in the corner, looking at pictures of her and Dexter on her mirror phone, crying.
She whispered to herself.
"Why does this have to happen?! Why?!" She sobbed.
"Raven, it's going to be ok. We'll figure this out! You'll get through." Cedar explained. Cedar then put her hand on Raven's shoulder. Raven brushed Cedar's hand off.
"You don't know how it feels to love someone, who will save you for their life, and sacrifice everything for you." Raven got angry.
"Raven.....calm down." Cupid eased.
"I can't calm down." Raven worried.
"You'll be ok."
"We'll make sure of it."
"We just have to---" Hunter said, but was cut off.
"NO!! Just STOP!!! All of YOU!!!" Raven yelled, furiously. Purple fire surrounded Raven, and her fists had balls of purple fire. Her eyes turned dark purple. She was angry. Her dark side came out. She froze everyone in the room.

Raven's POV

I'm so angry right now. I just froze everyone in the room.
"What did I just do?! Why did I let my anger get the best of me?!" I cried. I unfroze everyone. Everyone looked around at each other then me.
"Maybe it wasn't a good idea to come here." Lizzie worried. They all looked scared of me.
"I'm so sorry, everyone. It's just that my anger now gets the best of me and I can't control it." I apologized.
"We know you can't hold it in anymore cause of you 'dark side,' but we'll help you out." Maddie explained, excited.
"Thanks guys." I smiled, feeling comfortable now. Then my phone's ringtone went off. My favorite song by Tailor Quick.
"I wonder who is calling me?!" I questioned. I took out my phone and checked to see who it was.
"Dexter?!??" I exclaimed, very confused. Everyone also got really confused.
"But he's in the dungeon still right?!" Ashlynn wondered. I shrugged my shoulders and I answered the call.

Me: Dexter?

Dexter: hey Raven. I just wanted to call to say I'm on my way.

Me: What?! How?! You're on your way?!

Dexter: I'm coming after you.

Me: But you're in the dungeon right?!

Dexter: No. Not anymore. I'll see you soon. Where are you at?!

Me: Cerise's tree. There are a
pile of leaves covering the entrance. I'll watch for you.

Dexter: Ok, perfect.

Then he hung up.
"Weird? He didn't even say goodbye." I said.
"Maybe he's in a rush?" Cedar guessed.
"Maybe," I mumbled and sighed. I don't know if he'll make it. He's different some how. I could just sense it.
"We should get some sleep. We stayed up all night. Ashlynn and Hunter, could you guys watch for Dexter please?" I asked. They nodded, got up, and climbed up out of the tree. The rest of us fell asleep.

Hunter's POV

Raven seemed really upset earlier, but I'm glad she's okay now. I didn't want to make her mad again, so Ash and I are gonna just do our job.
"I wonder why Raven thinks that something is wrong with Dexter." Ash wondered.
"Hunter, Hunter! Look I see a shadowy figure!" Ash yelled, pointing at something. I saw the figure too.
"Who goes there?!" I asked, strongly.
"Dexter?" Ash asked quietly, starting to move towards the figure.
"Ashlynn! No!" I yelled. The figure grabbed Ash by her arm.
"Help!" Ash yelled. The figure moved towards me.
"Give her back! Now!" I demanded, angrily.
"You can have her! I was messing with you! Ha! You fell for that too easy!" The figure chuckled. As the fog passed, the figure's face was clear. It was Dexter. He had a smirk on his face. He pecked her on the cheek. Then he tossed Ashlynn to the ground. She got up with tears in her eyes, and hugged me for comfort.
"Why did you just do that? You never do anything like this?!" I yelled at him.
"People change. Get over it. It was just a joke. " Dexter shrugged.
"You could've hurt her!" I yelled.
"But I didn't, did I?" He smirked again.
We stared at each other angrily. Then we let go.
"Raven, he's here." Ash called out to Raven. I could here Raven climbing up the ladder.
"Dexter!" Raven exclaimed, running up to him, hugging him tight.
"Hey Rav! I've missed you!" Dexter hugged back.
"I'm just glad you're ok. I don't know what I would have done if you were gone. I'm glad you're here." Raven smiled. She was so comfortable, and I couldn't ruin her moment. But eventually, I'll have to tell her about Dexter. He's different. I don't want him to break her heart.
