Aphmau's POV
It has been exactly 8 months since I got to Phoenix Drop. I have already been deemed lord. I have just finished the last upgrade on our wall. My villagers are very loyal and friendly. Except maybe Logan... but that's not the point! Lets see theres... Donna, Logan, Cadensa, Kiki, Kawaii~Chan, Nicole, and many many others. Laurence, my head guard, is quite the Casanova but I dont pay attention to it. Dante, my other main gaurd is here also. And my best friend, Katlyn. Although with so many friends near, there are some people that don't enjoy my presence. Like Okasis and Matelli. They are my sworn enemies and I have slain any one that has stepped foot through my gates. Okasis, is the biggest problem. They despise me almost as much as I despise them. Although, recently I heard the king of Okasis has been assassinated. An arrow was shot exactly at his heart. His first born son must rise as king. My heart was overjoyed to hear of the king's assassination. He was an evil, wicked man. I only hope his son wasn't taught to be so. I continued to my village's needs. Last on my mind was Okasis.
I was walking through the village, hugging and saying hello to all my friends. I finally made it to the plaza where I was suppose to pick up some supplies from Logan. I swiftly made my way over to him, creating a loud clap with my hands.
"AYE LOGAN!" I laughed as he fell over.
"DANGET APHMAU YOU SCARED THE DAYLIGHTS OUT OF ME!" His breathing was heavy as he stood up.
"That was the point!" I chuckled, throwing 3 diamonds at him.
He glared, placing a box in front of him. I pulled the box into my arms and spun around, trotting back toward the gaurd tower. As I walked onto the pressure plate and through the doors, I placed the box on the nearby table. Using my blade to cut open the tape on the box, I opened the flaps to reveal my work. I pulled out armor stand pieces and weapon rack pieces. I took all the weapon racks and placed them along the entire right wall. I smiled in satisfaction and grabbed armor stands. I quickly built up 5 armor stands and lines them up along the left wall. I turned around to grab the box, but only to bump into someone. My eyes averted up to see Laurence. He held out his hand which was holding a folded piece of paper with the stamp of Okasis on the front. I grunted and grabbed it from his hands. I walked over to the table and sat down. I slowly unfolded the paper, feeling the rough texture. My eyes skimmed up to the top and began to read the neat writing.
Dear Lord Of Phoenix Drop,
As you may have heard, Our recent Lord has been assassinated. We understand that our two villages may have had an issue in trust before. I would like to put that aside for one event. I would like to invite you to my coordination to become the next Lord of Okasis. You may bring as many guards as you would like to feel safe if needed. We just would like you to be there along with the other nearby villages. Thank you and we all hope to see you there.

I let out a low sigh and looked at Laurence. He stared at me in confusion of my answer. I gave a slow, painful nod and stood up.
"Get your sword and armor, Laurence. We are going." I said walking away from the jaw-dropped Laurence. I walked away from the Gaurd tower and made my way to my large abode on the hill. As I made my way there, I clicked open my main chest and reached in. I pulled out my newest dress. The dress was a lilac color with black vines crawling up. I don't trust the Okasis and I don't think I ever will. I pulled on my black heels with straps that wrapped up my calf. I heard a humble knock at my door. I grabbed my enchanted amethyst sword and slid it into my belt as I made it to the door. I opened the oak door and smiled at the dazed Laurence. I chuckled and shoved past him. I got to the front gate and waved my hand at Dale. He switched the lever, causing the gates to open. I was greeted by Dante holding Spade, my black stallion, and May, Laurence's Solid brown Mare. I smiled as I took Spade's reins from Dante. He greeted me with a nudge. Laurence took May's reins, saying his goodbyes to Dante. I mounted Spade and looked down at Dante.
"You're in charge while im gone. I will only be gone for 2 or 3 days. Any longer then you send a search party to Okasis. Alright?" I said as he replied with a nod.
I nodded in return and lightly kicked Spade. He took off into a trott down the path to Okasis, Laurence close behind. It took about 3 hours to get there as we stopped for water and apples for the horses. As we rode up to the gates we were haulted by two large spears crossing into an X at Spade's snout. He let out a loud neigh and reared back. I gently stroked his neck and glared at the gaurds.
"That was uncalled for sir..." I snapped toward them.
"Who are you stranger? What is your business here?" A harsh voice spoke through his helm.
"Im Lord of Phoenix Drop. Im here as a guest to the prince's coordination. I have an invitation." I twirled the letter in my fingers.
"Oh. Apologies Lord. Go right ahead." They retracted their spears, allowing me and Laurence to walk in on our horses.
We slowly rode through the town, keeping a sharp eye on the guards. We had finally made our way to large gates on the front of the large tower shadowing over the village. "High and mighty little shit..." Was the first thought that came to mind. I dismounted from Spade and let his reins out of his mouth. I gaurd walked out, harshly grabbing Spade's halter. I grabbed his wrist and shoved it off.
"He doesn't wander. He stays until I come back. You don't touch our horses. Understood?" I gave a cold stare.
He gulped and let go of my horse, slowly backing up. He faced toward the plaza as of nothing happened. I turned back to Spade and stroked down his nose.
