"Hello Lord Aphmau!" He said with a large grin pinned to his lips.
"Y-YOU FOLLOWED ME?!?!" I snapped, shoving him back from the hug.
"Well... Uh. Yea!" He rubbed the back of his neck.
"WHY?!" I growled, my fists slowly bawling.
"Well. You left this so... I thought you might need it, and as I can see, you surly did." He chuckled,holding out my Amethyst sword.
I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. I closed my eyes and gently took the sword from his hands. I opened my eyes and averted them to his.
"Well. Thank you, Lord Garroth. Although you should get back to Okasis. Im fine now." I muttered.
"Y-yea. I guess I should, huh? A-alright." He put his fingers to his mouth to create a loud whistle.
A large white mare came trotting toward us. I gasped. She is GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!! She stopped in front of Garroth and dipped her head down. He motioned for me to come closer. I hesitated but soon took a few steps forward. The mare looked up from the ground and let out a grunt. I giggled and stroked her jaw. I soon heard hoof trots behind her. A loud neigh was heard. I quickly jumped behind the mare, to face Spade. He let out an agitated neigh and reared up. I took his halter and pulled down to my face. He moved his eyes from the mare's to mine. His eyes instantly softened as I placed my forehead on his. I smiled and stroked under his mane. I moved to his side and mounted him gently. I turned back to Garroth who had just mounted his mare.
"Well. Ill be going now...... Hopefully we will not cross paths. For the better. Goodbye." I dipped my head and rode to our camp.
I woke up Laurence and we quickly packed up our camp. As we mounted our horses, we took off into a sprint toward Phoenix Drop. As we finally came up to the gates we slowed into a trot which made into a nice walk. I waved my hand to Dale, who turned to the lever. We walked through the gates, which closed as soon as we got in. I dismounted from Spade and handed Dante the reins. He took Spade to our stables and I made my way to my abode attop of the hill that overlooked the village. I stepped into my large purple house and was greeted by Thorgi. I smiled, patting him in between his ears. As I walked up my stairs and into my room, I picked up some armor and placed it on my bedside table. I leaped into my bed and snuggled into the pillow, slowly drifting off into a peaceful sleep.
The next few days were as normal as Phoenix Drop could get. Our daily jobs went on as any other normal day. Everyone was the same. After about one month I was feeding Thorgi some chicken. That was... until Laurence came bursting through the door. I dropped all the chicken which Thorgi instantly ate. I glared up at Laurence, obviously annoyed.
"....OKASIS....GAURDS....LORD... FRONT GATES... NOW... SWORDS... WAGONS..." he said between breaths.
My eyes widened as I quickly put on my armor and grabbed my swords. I ran out the door with Laurence at my heels. I shot a look up at Dale as he nodded, opening the gates. I clenched my sword in my hands, speed walking toward Garroth. I flicked my sword up, holding it horizontally to his throat. He froze and stared at me in shock.
"I HAVE SWORN THAT ANY OKASIS THAT STEPPED FOOT ON PHOENIX DROP GATES WILL BE DECAPITATED BY MY SWORD. I SUGGEST YOU TURN BACK NOW OR PAY THE PRICE." I snarled, holding the sword closer to his throat.
"W-wow. Didn't know we had THAT much of a conflict. I-I am just here t-to give a portion of the supplies my father took from your village. I-im sorry to frighten you Lord Aphmau." He said with a gulp.
I slowly looked toward the 3 wagons. One had different varieties of foods. The second had different ores. And the last had farm animals. I continued to stare at the wagons as my sword slowly dropped from his neck. I heard a heavy inhale from him. I glanced at him then at Dale. I flicked my arm and he opened the gates fully.
"Alright. Follow me." I muttered, walking into the village.
As we made our way to the plaza, I turned to Garroth who was admiring the village. I snapped my fingers in front of his eyes, grabbing his attention. He shook his head and looked at me.
"Why are you doing this?" I muttered, crossing my arms.
"Well. You were right. My father did take many things fron Phoenix Drop. It was our main source. Then you came and took over the village, cutting off our source. That's why my father hated you. But im not afraid to help around my village, like you. My father was just lazy." A small smile cracked on his lips.
"Hmm... well I appreciate this. Thank you." I moved my arms to my sides.
"U-uh Y-yea! Its the least I could do!" His face grew a light pink.
I raised an eyebrow and make a small circle in front of his face with my finger.
"You gotta lil... Blush there." I chuckled as be grew more of a red.
I rolled my eyes and chuckled. The villagers came out and began to unpack the wagons, excitedly. Kiki took the animals to her barn. Logan and Donna took the food. Some others took the ores down to the mine or to the blacksmith. A warm smile sizzled onto my lips. I looked over at Garroth who was staring at me, a gazed smile plastered on his face.
