Please Tommy- wait, who?

I can remember every single detail about that terrible nightmare. But the ending was what got to me. I remember it all, I was in a place called the Glade with some strangers. It started off as just three of us-  a guy called Alby, me, and a guy called Minho. None of us could remember anything! So, we built up a small village of sorts and that's how it came to be. However, we couldn't leave. We were trapped by an ever changing Maze. We couldn't try to get through it at night, because that was when these cyborg monster like things- we called them the Grievers- would come out, and if it moved it died.

But then there was a guy, the last to come before everything fell apart. He was called Thomas, but I always called him Tommy. He was everything I could hope to be. He was brave, optimistic, and he wouldn't ever leave a man behind. He was the one to solve the Maze

And I mentioned things falling apart, right? When I say 'fall apart' I mean take a glass, crush it. Melt every single shard of it. Then toss it off the face of the Earth. The Glade became too dangerous. The Maze stopped moving, and that meant closing too. The Grievers came out, and they took Alby.

We had to find the exit, which Tommy did practically single handedly. He got us out, and then we learned about this brain sickness. It was called 'The Flare' and it ate at your sanity, until you became a cannibalistic murderer. We could only find a cure if we tracked through a desert, going through crank infested towns.

Out of our group of surviving Gladers, I was the only one who had it. So I went to this Crank Palace. It's where Cranks- people with The Flare- could go. I think I liked it, but it was eating my sanity. So then, after sometime, Tommy brought the Gladers to try to save me. I had lost a notable sense of- well, everything. I told them to go away. I told my friends to leave me behind.

So then the Cranks went on a sort of rampage. We went on a seemingly zombie apocalypse mode, destroying anything and everything. Then he came again. He jumped out of a truck and ran over to me. I started yelling, yelling about how everything had been his fault. I felt awful. I told him why I had a limp. I had a limp because I pitched myself off one of the Maze walls. I couldn't believe it. What happened next was the ending, you know, the part that was the most memorable. I had him shoot me.

"Please Tommy, please." Then there was a bang and I fell to the ground, the life leaving my eyes.

And then I woke up.
