Chapter 8; AW MAN !

CHAPTER 8; AW MAN! 

Right in front of me was Hansen and he was half naked.  We were currently at the indoor pool that the school had. Hansen was getting out of the pool and as he did water ran down his body. I’m then yanked out of the hypnotizing trance I was in just by looking at Hansen lift himself out of the water.

I turn to Kelsey who had a hold of my arm.

“Yes?” I ask still a bit dazed.

She rolls her eyes “Wipe the drool off your mouth and change into this.” She says handing me a bag before pushing me into a small changing room. I open the bag and my eyes nearly pop out of my head.

“Don’t say anything. We are going to be in the swimming club now! Well, Beth is already in it since she does mostly every sport but I’m in it too!!! And since Beth told us that we were not allowed to wear a bikini, so that left me with only a few options and that meant a one piece that was mega hot!” Kelsey rambles. I groan.

I put it on then groan once more. Dizzyness hits me, I put my hand on the wall to steady me. I wait a couple of seconds and it leaves. I shake my head but shout out to Kelsey hoping she didn’t notice my sudden quietness.

“Kelsey! Is it meant to be missing a few pieces? Like for example the sides of my ribs? Cause they are showing a lot of sides! And what the heck is this? It’s connecting my top half to the bottom half!” I hiss opening the door to reveal Kasey in a one piece that looked plain but when she turned around her back was showing to the whole world. I turn to Beth and see that I’m not the only one who got made to wear one of the ‘revealing’ swimsuits. Beth was wearing a swimsuit that was worse than mine! She had everything covered but it was held by strings! Her top was like a sports bra but it had strings on the bottom, her swimming trunks were held together by the strings from the top.

Beth’s face was pale. Kelsey must have threatened her with something.

“Come on! We’re up next! Coach said that we have to show how good we are then he’ll put us in a group that suits us.” Kelsey lets go off my hand making me bump into someone.

“Aw, are you okay…Nene? What are you doing here?” no other than Hansen asks, my eyes widen and I try to look innocent….well even more innocent than I already am.

“Um, Kelsey told the Coach that we, we meaning me and Kelsey and I we’re joining the club….” He must have noticed what I wearing, his eyes turn black, he growls dangerously.

Oh shit.

“It’s okay, stay calm, you don’t need to get angry! It’s okay, I’m yours and you’re mine.” I whisper, wrapping my arms around his torso. His arms tighten around me and I feel safe and whole.

“HANSEN! LET GO OF YOUR MATE SO WE CAN SEE HER SWIM!!” Hansen growls but let’s go reluctantly. I smile up at him.

“Watch me!” I whisper smiling. I turn to see Coach smiling in amusement.

“Okay you are going to be versing Kendall.” I nod but Hansen shouts.

“COACH! She’s the best female swimmer in the school…you can’t…” Coach cuts him off.

“Yes I can, Kelsey over here won her race and she was versing Josh.”

Hansen open his mouth but it’s me this time that cut him off.

“Hansen. Don’t you think I can win? Don’t you believe in me?” I shake my head and move away from him before he can touch me. Kelsey moves to block him.

“Let’s get this over and done with Coach.” I mutter.

“Good on yah. It’s freestyle, 2 laps.”  Coach says happy.
