Ok, so I know I haven't written in a while, I've been out of inspiration and creativity. I didn't really want to write another chapter just to get it done and it be really crappy, so I waited a while and got some creativity! Yay! I also went back and fixed the price for two two way tickets to London, and made it more realistic. Its a bit of a stretch from what I had origionally put, but whatever. Its now 3000 for tickets, and 60 dollars for baggage, but they rounded up to 3100, and subtracted the money they saved up to 3030. Here's the next chapter and I hope you enjoy! :D

CHAPTER FIVE

"Ok," I said before delving into a conversation about how we were going to get the money for our trip. "First of all, we need the money, but we also need to contact Levi to see when we are going over there and figure out all of that stuff." I said as I got some milk and cookies.

"Well, we could beg on the streets," Mel began, "But I don't think that's entirely legal here."

"I have no idea how in the world we are going to get that much money. Its beginning to stress the cheese out of me." I said feeling a wave of nausea come over me.

"Do I need to tattoo a comforting verse on your hand to make you remember?" Mel said, obviously frustrated.

Its not that I dont trust God, but It's always been hard for me to trust God with my finances. Ever since I was a little girl, I've stressed about money. Birthday parties my parents threw me were sometimes stressful because we had to buy the party favors, snacks, the cake, decorations, and things like that. I'm much better now, but sometimes I still get a little shakey. Like now.

"GAAAHH, lets just...talk about this later. I'm going to go get the mail and cool off."

As I walked to the multi-unit mail box, I grumbled to myself about everything that was annoying me today.

"Dumb cat, throwing up everywhere...Mel borrowing my favorite t-shirt and getting ketchup on it..as if it wasn't enough to ruin that new skirt I bought at Target..."

I got louder as I opened up the mail box with the key we were given, grabbed the mail, locked the mail box up and flipped through the mail as I headed back to my Apartment.

"Bill...postcard from becky...bill...PAYCHECK...letter from Mike Shively...Wait. Letter from Mike Shively? Who in the world?.." I said as I opened the door and headed inside to sit down.

"Mel, do you know a Mike Shively?" I said with curiosity.

She was sitting on the couch, watching tv. She muted the TV, and looked back at me with confusion.

"I dont think so...Who's it addressed to?"

"Well, It's addressed to me, but I didn't recognize the name so I thought I'd ask you.."

I went and sat at the table as I slowly opened the letter. Mel turned up the TV.

To the closest relative of Margaret Snow.

After attempting multiple ways of communication, this letter is to inform you that your distant cousin margaret snow has recently passed away from a heart attack at the age of 82 and has included you in her will. please contact us so we can set up a meeting to disclose what you have inherited. please bring a form of i.d.

Sincerely,

Lawyer Mike Shively.

I stared at the letter in confusion, and curiosity.

"Mel, It's a letter from a lawyer called Mike Shively. He says one of my distant cousins has recently died and put me in her will. What do you think thats about?"

She turned the tv off and got up to look at the letter.

"It looks legit. What are you going to do?"

"I guess I'm going to call him and set up an apointment. What do you think it is she's left me? I dont even know who this person IS." I said staring at the letter.

"If we're lucky, It's a ferrari." She said with a smile and a wink to go with it.

"An 82 year old driving a ferrari...sounds realistic to me." I said, sarcasm filling every syllable.

"These are corrupt times we live in. Adult women wearing mini skirts, adult men wearing leather coats and tank tops, teenagers wearing ten year old's clothes...I knew It was only a matter of time before the senior citizens were affected."

"Very funny. I forgot to laugh. Well, It's probably just a junky old lamp or maybe an antique dresser thats slowly falling apart. I'm sure she doesn't know very much about me, and that her possesions have already gone to the other closer family members."

"You're probably right. Well, go set up a meeting with Mikey over there and tell me whats happened. And by the way, I know you didn't know her, but I'm sorry you lost your cousin." She offered.

"Its ok...I wish I had known her. She could have been a really nice lady." I said remorsefully.

"I know, but I guess we gotta look forward." She said, handing me my cell phone.

"Alrighty, I'll give this Mike a call. See whats in store."
