Before Emma had ever opened her eyes, all she could feel was the intense pain of the burn from last night. Rather than feeling the coolness of concrete beneath her, she felt the accommodating comfort of a mattress. She felt the cool damp touch of a wash class on her forehead. Her eyelids felt as though they were weights making it near impossible to see where she was. "Killian..." She mumbled. "I'm sorry." The guilt she felt pressed on her mind, even the first moments of consciousness.
"Shh... It's okay. Swan. I understand why you did what you did."
Her hand searched for his aimlessly. When she found it a weak smile touched her lips. "They burned my shoulder blade. Part..." She felt herself falling back into the warmth of sleep. "Part of inanition process. The rest is to take place later."
Without her eyes open she could feel Killian now panicking, something about her words concerned him. "You need to get up." He said harshly.
His tone caused her to finally have the energy to open her eyes. Furrowing her eyebrows, "What? You seem alarmed."
"They don't typically rush like this. It's a process that is suppose to occur over three years. The final test is murder."
"Maybe after what happened with you... He changed his policy." That probably wasn't it, the concern on his face was only growing by the second.
"For women, to my memory it's different. Your used differently. I have to contact him. Emma I can't let you be alone in this, you need someone-"
"To protect me?" Emma finished in question for him. Her tone nearly in disbelief. "I don't. You managed to get out of it, please don't do that, not even for me."
"Just like you, it's my decision. Believe me if you knew what was coming you'd understand."
"Then explain it to me." She begged him, her eyes pleading.
She could see him hesitating, she felt almost if their was a weight scale in his brain at this moment. "Most women... he uses to seduce men, whether the gain be small or large. With that in mind he needs to be certain you can do that."
Emma felt her heart beat a bit faster at this turn in conversation. "How would he be certain of that?"
"You'd have to seduce one of his men. Who have been trained to be incorruptible."
"You say that as if you were one of those incorruptibles." Emma noted.
"One of the ways I've paid my debt is by allowing him to send girls through here. None have succeeded."
Emma grinned. "So the best way you could prepare me is to allow me to try and seduce you. If I can't do it then you'll have to help me." He arched an eyebrow at her and smirk broaden on his lips.

They'd gone downstairs, so they'd be in a neutral territory. Emma couldn't help her anticipation, she wanted to make him beg, someone who never seem to beg in his life before that's what she wanted now. They stood a few feet from each other, "Go when you're ready Swan."
Before he'd finished she'd already decided on her plan. "Take off your shirt."
He shot her a confused look but did as he was instructed. Leaving her staring at his uncovered toned chest, which she wished deeply to run her hand across. Rather she slowly edged towards him, placing her hand with feather touch there. She stood up on the tips of her toes and kissed him softly on his neck, edging slowly down but drawing her finger across where her lips left. She looked up at him, his cheeks were a bit redder than normal. Then she took off her shirt, leaving her standing in a red laced push up bra. His jaw visibly dropped, she trailed a finger across his jaw line. "Have I told you that I know my way around hand cuffs?" The jingle of them echoed in the room as she pulled them out. "Quite interesting. It's just a very..." She kissed the sweet spot by his ear. "easy to trick to teach-" Before she finished he pulled her to him, pressing his lips hard on top of hers. Emma couldn't help but smile, she trailed her hand up his thigh just stopping at his waist. She felt he moan against her lips.
Her legs swung around his waist as he lifted her up. "You..." He said pulling from her. "Are trouble."
Emma couldn't help but laugh. "And your easy." He gave her a dirty look, "Very easy.".
"Let's see how easy you are Swan." He said letting her drop back onto her feet.
        "Now is not exactly-"
Before she'd finished talking he trailed his hand up her side, his lips grazing her neck gently in the same moment. Then he moved his lips so that they were now at her ear. "Do you want to know what I wanted to do to you, since the first moment I saw you?"
She didn't respond, rather her hands were clenched at her side as she tried desperately to contain herself as she felt his hot breath on the back of her neck.
His hand now was on her thigh. "I want to strap you to my bed, and make you scream my name." Killian's voice was husky now, deep with uncovered desire.
Emma turned to look at him and took his face in her hands. "Make me then."
Within the blink of an eye he'd picked her up again, this time they didn't break the kiss as they went of the stairs to his room. When they'd got there both were quick to discard their bottoms. "I wonder..."
"What?" Emma asked nearly out of breath from the constant kissing.
"Just I don't have a warranty on my bed. If we break it-"
Emma couldn't help but laugh as she grabbed his hand and pulled him down on top of her and on the bed. "Were not going to break the bed."
"I'm not so certain of that." Despite the fact he'd said that he continued. "Wanna show me what you can do with those handcuffs?"
She grinned at him darkly. "Love to."

As they laid in bed Emma finally could do what she wanted to for so long, her hand played with Killian's dark chest hair. She couldn't help but grin, her head was tucked into his neck and his chin rested on top of her head. For a moment at least they could ignore the troubles that surrounded them. Even if for only a few minutes. Despite the peace, the few moments of silence allowed for dread to fill Emma's bones as she considered the uncertainty of what was to come. Her heart beat began to pick up as she focused on it, she didn't know exactly what she'd gotten herself into. "Killian." Emma said quietly as he stroked her hair.
        "Yes love?"
No matter how upset she felt right now, that managed to put a smile on her lips. "I'm worried."
He moved so that their eyes met, and the way he grew concern with her unhappiness made it all the easier to speak. "What is it?"
"I hate this. The feeling of something horrible hanging over our heads. Almost like at any moment the sky is going to drop out on top of us. The thing is, I know things are only going to get worse."
His eyes only searched hers for a moment, then he put his hand to her cheek and she leaned into it as she shut her eyes. "I won't let anything happen to you."
"I'm not worried about me. I could care less about what happens to me. I only care about what happens to you."
"Swan. Do you want to know what concerns me?"
        "Of coarse."
"Rumple has a way of... corrupting people. No matter how good, or innocent they are he can turn them into something completely different and dark. And I don't want that to happen to you. You are like the sun to me. For so long I felt I was lost in the darkness and then you walked into my bar and brought back a part of me that I thought I had lost forever."
Emma didn't know what to say at first, just taken back by his words and his honesty.
"Can you promise me something?" Killian asked.
        "Anything."
"Promise me; no matter what happens, no matter how bad things get, that you won't push me away. That if and when things get bad and you want to run that you allow me to follow. And I know we've only been together for a few months and this... this is a lot to promise, but in this moment I could see no end for us. But it also feels with all that is going on with Rumple that this is the calm before the storm." During the speech Killian had moved his hand to hers and intertwined their fingers.
"Your right it does feel like the calm before the storm... And I hate that. I wish desperately for a clear path out of all of this. You're also right that this is a lot to promise... And you know my fears, but I am willing to push past them and promise you this: Killian Jones I won't push you away, no matter" Emma shook her head for emphasis, "what happens. But I want you to promise me that same. And to also promise me, if I begin to lose myself you will be there to remind me of who I am."
"I promise." With that Killian pulled her into a kiss, his hand searching her long blonde locks in the passionate embrace.
