Fact #79: Epilogue is the new Prologue

You may know that on January 11th, 2007, the most famous author of all time, J. K. Rowling, finished the end to the ever-popular Harry Potter franchise, title Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

She wrote this on the back of the bust of Hermes's head, at the Balmoral hotel in Edinburgh.

This fact is going to be a double, though.

So, for starters, J. K. Rowling finished the epilogue of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, in "around the 90's" to quote Rowling.

Wow.

And it was published a decade later.

And, did you know that the whole Harry Potter franchise, movies and books included, made an amazing $25 billion!

And did you know that J. K. Rowling became the first person to go from being a billionaire, to a millionaire, out of charitable deeds?

Yup, she gave away 16% of her net worth. 160 million dollars!

Now, she's won back her billionaire title, but still!
