"Kailan magsisimula?" I asked Alden as we were walking through the school's hallway, since our period is vacant.

"What do you mean kailan?" Alden looked at me.

"Yung...deal," I murmured.

"Haven't I told you?" He looked away. "I said February— automatically, tomorrow, February 1."

"Yeah, right," I said. "When stupidity strikes."
——————
"Exactly 12:00 a.m," he told me before he rode the car.

"What?" I gasped when he drove away. Great. I'm pretty sure he won't make me do something at exactly 12:00 a.m. I rode a taxi to home. As I was on my way, I looked at the car window, or taxi window, and saw a mother and daughter dressed up the same.

Sigh, it's weird that I'm saying it instead of doing it. But I thought, How I wish my mother would live longer.

10:00 p.m and still can not sleep. I put my earphones on and started listening to a relaxing song from Spotify. I am not used to it when I'm alone at the house, I usually have my friends or classmates or even relatives here. Especially Mama.

I was about to fall asleep when my phone rang. Great timing there. "Hello?"

"Bring me a cup of tea," I looked at my watch. Time check: 12:00 a.m.

"Who is this?" I suddenly asked.

"Alden," Oh.

"How come would you make me do a chore at this time?"

"I am your boss."

"So? I still have the rights to—"

"It's February 1," I sighed. Just then I thought of something.

"Paano ko ibibigay sayo?" I asked.

"Edi pumunta ka dito."

"Address?"

"Lumina Homes, Blk. 5 Lot 7."

"Fine. I'll be there."

"Kuya, may kilala ka bang Alden dito?" Then they laughed. Boys are really crazy.

"Mga tol, hinahanap si Alden ngayong oras na ito," one said. He seems familiar. "Rarape-in mo ba?" Then they laughed again.

"Just an important reason. Tell me please," I begged. Then a guy bragged me.

"Alden, sino yan?" The gang asked.

He rolled his eyes. He dragged me to his house. Or mansion. Napanganga naman daw ako. "Ano pang hinihintay mo? Bring me a cup of tea."

"Oo na," I rushed because I wanna sleep. Who cares? Then I brought it to him.

"Thanks," he smiled and took a sip. "It's great."

"Okay so now can I sleep?" I looked at my watch. Time check:2:30 a.m.

"Kawawa naman," I heard him murmur. "Sige tulog ka na. Nasa 2nd floor yung kwarto mo, labeled. Umabsent ka na bukas, ako bahala sa teacher niyong kalbo."

I softly laughed. "Thank you!"

I was walking through the garden of our school when I was holdapped by a gang. I tried to scream as loud as I can. "Holdap to, akin na yang pera mo kung hindi babarilin kita nitong baril!"

"Siyempre alangan namang saksakin mo ako niyang baril na yan," I rolled my eyes. "By the way wala akong pera. Ni bentsinko."

"Hindi mo ba talaga ibibigay?" Itinutok niya ang baril sa akin.

"Wala nga sabi—" puputok na sana when I—

"Ah!" Oh, everything was just a dream.

"Ayos ka lang?" Alden asked me while caressing my hair. "4:00 pa lang gising ka na."

"Hindi ako ayos," I took a deep breath, "I thought that was the end of my life, then."

He smiled. "Tulog ka na," I closed my eyes and I can feel him covering me with my blanket.

"Maganda ka pa rin pala kahit tulog," I heard him murmur before I fell asleep.
