Chapter 10

Ley was busy handling her things when she got the news from her familiar. She smiled while preparing to capture Lucille for her bad deeds in the demon realm. She called her men to get ready as they went to the Sourcream household to see her daughter there instead of Lucille herself. Ley gave off a silent curse as she questioned where was her mother and Lu could only say that she was at the true mansion of the Sourcream household. Soon Ley went to the true place as Lucille is already sitting there smiling while handing her a document and guess what she blamed all to her daughter and the facts were already there. Ley was angry on this wild goose chase as she captured Lu for questioning.

"Your mother told us that in the cases you've been into was included having a contract with the abyssal power, murdering the devil fruit, illegally sending your men to attack the angels to make this year's war and angering both the creator and the guardian of Elrios. I'll ask you one question: Did you really did all those things?" Ley asked Lu while Lu gave off a serious face and shook. Ley look at the document and seems it was her but Ley didn't believe it since Lu had been behaving well and not to mention her ranking in the demon realm.

Ley went back unable to catch either of them when Ley was confident that the culprit was Lucille instead of her daughter but somehow she was able to slip away again. She groan in frustration as Dio came to check on her since he's also busy with his side.

"Ley take some rest tomorrow we'll capture that culprit who did this to us. For now give me your work." He said while Ley passed her files to him while pinching his cheek lightly.

"You are the best in a time with this. I'll take your offer but you too must rest." She said while going to her room with a smile on her face. Dio took the chance to look through what happened in the past and still brought up till now that made her this tense.

After a few hours of learning and researching from past to present he knew that why Ley wanted to catch Lucille so much now. He sigh while continuing figuring out the puzzle set out by Lucille and doing his work at the same time too. Soon he fell asleep on his desk while Ley went out of her room and put a blanket on him to make sure he was not too cold as she went back to sleep.

Ciel was still learning more of the abyss with the Demon God's help when Alice burst out into the room with a mad smirk on her face.

"Well I got good news and bad news gentlemen and which one do you pick?" She asked in a control manner as both of them said the same pick- Bad news.

"Well Ley will be coming and going to ask you mister some questions and didn't I say to wipe your tracks when disposing that stupid Glitter Alchemist? And I know he's alive Ciel. Good news is Ley will be wiping out the whole Sourcream household isn't it great?" She said while jumping of joy while Ciel's face turned pale while hearing the word 'wiping out' which kept on repeating in his mind.

"Why are they being wiped out Alice? I hope you got a good explanation for this." Ciel said with his face was getting angered by it. The Demon God saw this and poof out of the room to not get into these two way. Alice was indeed laughing madly as usual as she cooled down a bit.

"My my Ciel even I don't know why Ley would be doing this. Well that brat got her reasons but otherwise....." Alice said while her face darkened.

"Otherwise?" Ciel asked in a patience manner while Alice was thinking deeply on what she should say next. Ciel couldn't read what was in her mind but looking at her making him know it's bad news.

"Ciel make sure when you are being questioned make it simple but straight to the point. No more slippery tongue just tell her the truth. Something big is going to happen and I can feel it. If you're worried of Lu I could help her slip out but after that make sure you give me something in exchange." She said while Ciel thought for a while and nodded. Ley came barging in while asking Ciel some questions that Ciel himself doesn't want to answer.

Ciel merely gave her bored looks. Ciel doesn't really cares the question after all.

"First...where was Lu when you're hunting Joaquin?"

" Hmph. Somehow,she was in the hallucination. Don't ask me how she was there."

"...Fine."

"Next...when you were having the trials of the abyss,did Lu or Lucile appeared there?"

"I was busy completing the trials. As such,i didn't notice anyone at all. Any questions left?" Ciel finally gave her a threatening looks as he stated those words.

"My my..you're rather impatient,aren't you?"

"So what of it?"

"Nothing,sweetie. Well then,here's the final question. It's also the most important question." Ley gave Ciel an even more threatening looks,causing Ciel to shiver by the pressured situation.

"When Lu was around you...did you sense any demonic power that's comparable to the Demon God there?"

Ciel was surprised at this 'most important'..why did it even matters anyway? Even with such thoughts,Ciel was rather worried by the sudden question...He was wondering what might happen to Lu...Regardless,Ciel gave Ley a stern look and replied to Ley's question.

"...If it's about Lu's mother,Lucile,i did see her at Sourcream household after i saved Lu from the hallucination of Joaquin..and that power you're talking about...mind telling me what is it if it's even heavier than the Abyss' Power?"

"Hmph an impatient brat like you wouldn't understand." Ley said while leaving. Ciel was getting more confused with Ley as he went to Alice mini ver. library to look for answers. Reading about the creator and the history about the world on how it's formed and the guardians in it and he understood something immediately and he knew Lu was in trouble.
