Chapter 18

Ciel and Lu made it out alive. Lu was still struggling to get out as Ciel hit her head, unconscious. He look back, seeing them fight and the bloody rain poured hardly on them and himself he was getting more energy as his fist tightened. He continued to take Lu away and escape and not looking back until he's out of the danger zone. He got out of the perimeters after a while and looking back, seeing chains flying and the place was torn apart, he saw one if it's part and it was gigantic and he saw a four wing being? He can't see properly with this distance but when he saw a beam he knew it was Ley's doing and he got back for his tracks. After a long while of running, he saw the beam was gone and the chains were shattering and slowly floating up little sparks of lights. He saw the four winged thing was being stabbed and slowly pulled into the ruble. Hr knew he didn't have time to see who was it so he continued running to his place without again, looking back.

He arrived back at his place while Diablo didn't say anything at the whole trip, he was just silent and that what made Ciel curious. He put her down at her bed and tucked her in. As he sat on the chair with Diablo who was looking deadlier than usual.

"Oii Diablo.... Diablo?" Ciel called but no response. He took something from the fridge as he put that thing on his neck. It was a can beer just for Diablo while he take himself a soft drink. Diablo flinch when the cold freezing metal was on his skin. He laugh a bit as he took it and opened it. He drank it forcefully as he let out a sigh in response.

"When you find Ley...... Ask her for me to come here. I need to talk to her a few things." He said while smiling at Ciel who just glad he's somehow ok and just nodded in response.

"You think we're going to win?" Ciel said while looking outside. Diablo observed for a minute as he came and pat his shoulder while leaning down to his ear.

"Who knows? Maybe this story was suppose to end quickly. Or maybe the Creator doesn't care anymore like The El Lady. But...." He was transferring something into Ciel's body who was not aware of it.

"Since I want to see how you improved and evolve, you cannot die yet." He said while leaving. Ciel drank finish is drink before he knew it. He threw it in the trash as he went to bathe, tired from all of this he punch the wall hard.

'I wasn't able to protect them instead I ran...... I need to be more stronger so I could defeat that thing. I need to be sharper for Lu's sake...... for everyone's sake' he thought while going out the shower without his shirt on.

He took his book and his shirt to Lu's room. He saw her still unconscious on her bed as he sat on the couch and read his book. Lu woke up and she sat up while looking around like she'd been hunted and terrified. She saw herself back at home and on her bed safe and sound. She looked around seeing Ciel only she was tearing up. The memory of Ley and Alice staying back for them. She wanted to stay and fight head on but she knew it was no time and no shape to even hurt it fully. Her hands grip into a fist and she was tearing up because she knew that one of them won't make it. Ciel sat beside her trying to bring her into a hug but she smacked his hand away.

"You don't understand this now." She muttered. As Ciel expression was dark too. Both of them dislike this not one bit and now their relationship was also effected.

"I may not understand this but we both had a hard day of you could just....."
"I can't Ciel I just can't chill no matter what you say. Get out Ciel...."
"But...."
"GET OUT!" She shouted while trembling. Ciel hung is head low as he got out he muttered about things he shouldn't say and yes he was furious. He slam his door shut and tucked himself in and look at the ceiling and clear his thoughts.

Lu was shaking she was biting her lower lip and unable to control her anger and emotions properly. She was desperate for someone to comfort but she pushed him away. She took a late bath and she was crying after seeing her clothes all soaked in blood. She was trembling when she got out and she was more insecure than usual. Maybe it was the possibility of a ally betting their lives on the line while she was trying to keep her life safe? Lu didn't know what to do now and what made her worse was they haven't come back.

She wore her oversized T-shirt and her shorts while going out, obviously to his room for apology. She knocked his door while he opened it, before he could close it back she hug him tightly while burying her face onto his chest/stomach. He look down on her while patting her head softly and he took his hands into a knuckle as he put them at the side her her head as he squeeze and twist his fist as she was trying to pull it off but she can't. He let go while she was rubbing her head as she look up and seeing Ciel was not angry.

"So we're good?" He asked while Lu was smiling while nodding. She was closing her eyes while smiling as he flick her forehead with his fingers.

"Get some sleep I need to find Ley tomorrow and you're coming with me." He said as she was rubbing her forehead nodding and went back to her room and slept.

Her dream?.... no her nightmare.

She was at another place where her mother is there with a being that was too powerful. He was sitting on the throne, an old forgotten throne where the myths said the first demon king sat and he was the most powerful one, but now it was suppose to be in rubble and he's sitting right there.

His eyes gleam in the dark and she can sense that he had unlimited power and her vibes are telling her that no one could defeat it, they could only seal it but shed didn't know how. She saw it was complete and it's will is like other demons: to destroy anything in their path.

She was back in Elrios and she saw the world was being crumble to rubble and this led on till human was in extinction state. The Elves went back to their wold the Nasod had disappeared unknown the reason. The El? *scoffs* that's the only hope for them now.

It came out as the earth shook roughly. The sea wasn't calm the wind was more aggressive and the storm? It was already pouring hard. She saw everyone being sacrifice to save them but failed. Someone pat her shoulder as she turned.

"Dad...."
