Chapter 1: Certain Reason

“Yani! Yani! Yani!” The crowd cheered my name, covering the whole studio as I perform my 3rd comeback.

Furthermore I’m Zhang, Yani and I’m 21 years old. I became a trainee for 4 years at SM Entertainment, debuted last 2 years ago and now, here I am, finally living the life I once just dreamt, being an idol.

My fans? I can say that they love me from head to toe. They love the way I perform, the way I sing and everything I do. Thank you! I didn’t really expect that I’ll come this far but through all my hard work, I think I deserve this.

Yeah, they love me but probably they won’t like the other side of me, a man hater. Ms. So Bitter, that’s what they titled me for it. Who did? The guys that like and confess to me but end up getting rejected or something, or even when I roll my eyes on them. Those guys are so L.A.M.E. What do they think? They like me, I’ll like them back? I’m not that easy kiddo.

If you are wondering why I’m so mean and bitter to guys, it’s because they are so arrogant! They are annoying! They only look at a girl’s outer beauty! That’s all what they want! They are so dense! THEY ARE ALL THE SAME! They made fun of me before! They hate me before! They bullied me before!!!!

Okay, so much for that. It’s just payback time. THEY ARE ALL THE SAME I TELL YOU!!!!

But actually, part of me is thanking those stupid boys because if it weren’t for them, I, the very sexy lady that every guy drools for is not here.

“Haha! look! it’s Miss fatty-mac-fat-fat!”

“Hahaha!!!”

“Yeah! It’s Miss fatty-4-eyes with fence on her teeth!!! hahahaha!!”

A chubby girl is being bullied again as she walks along the school corridor. There is no time those guys missed to bully her. Whether it’s in the morning, recess, lunch and even dismissal time they just don’t leave her alone. Cry? Nah! She is kinda used to it already so she just really doesn’t mind them. But of course there are the times when she can't take it anymore but she never showed them she cries because she don’t want those bullies to think she is weak and that easy.

“Hi Yani!” her best friend yelled.

“Hello Chia!” Yani yelled back. Ignoring the bullies, she marched toward her friend who is sitting on the waiting area, the usual place where they wait for their school bus. Chia and Yani are best friend since kindergarten. The both of them get the same treatment by their classmates and schoolmates, being bullied. Yani gets bullied because she is fat, have braces and wears glasses while Chia is also the same, except she is so skinny, she is being called stick-lady for it.

“Chia! Oh gosh! I have something to tell you! Do you know—”

“I don’t know”

“Yah! I’m not finish yet! You know what?! We are going to live in Korea!” The chubby girl said. Jumping up and down her sit.

The skinny girl widen her eyes “What?! Really?! Omo, WoW! You can finally sign as trainee in where ever Entertainment Company you like there!! Just like you ever wanted!!!” she said. Doing the same thing her best friend is doing.

“I know! I know! I’m so excited! This is a great opportunity to become an artist!!!” the chubby girl claps in excitement as her friend does the same.

“Yah! Will you two shut up! Dream on fatty-4-eyes, there is no way you’re going to be accepted in those company, whatever is that! You’re fat and.. and.. and Nerd! Have you seen a fat idol? Heck you will never be one!” A guy that passes through the corridor said as he heard what the two girls are talking about. After he said those very discouraging word, he then leaved.

Ouch! That is so much to hear from her crush. Yes, Miss fatty-o-nerdy have a crush on that rude guy. His name is Luhan, also one of the guys that love to bully her every time. He is from class 10-A, he is one year older than the chubby girl since she is from 9-A but they are in the same school building. Miss chubby was stars trucked by Luhan from the very first time she met him, I mean who wouldn’t be? He is so handsome,smart and popular in their school, but after everything he said about the girl’s dream, Yani started to fill her heart only with anger for him. She had enough, and that is the last straw.

“Aish! Just ignore him Yani, he is just a jerk! He doesn’t know how talented you are. Yes you are fat but who cares, you are pretty. Don’t let those negative people pull you down” Chia patted her shoulder, cheering her bestfriend up. Yani looked at her friend then nodded.

“Anyway, why did you decided to move to Korea? I mean you know, from here in China to Korea?” The skinny girl asked.

“Well, it’s a family decision actually. Mom and dad talked with me about it. You know my mom is Korean so she likes us to also experience living in Korea, something like that. Well, me and my two siblings like the idea but I kinda had a second thought about it since I don’t want to leave a friend behind.”

“Aww!! I’m so touched, but don’t worry about me, I’m totally happy for you! This is that you’ve always dreamed of. Besides, we have a lot of way to contact each other, social network! So when are you going to leave?”

“Thanks Chia! I will really, really miss you!!!” she hugged the skinny girl “Our flight schedule is on Wednesday but I won’t be around here at school anymore tomorrow will be busy packing are things for the next day.” she said as she release her friend from her hug.

“Aww Yani!!! I will miss you!!!”

 Yani always dream to become a singer-performer. Her family are very supportive about it, especially her mom.

“Yah! Will you two shut up! Dream on fatty-4-eyes, there is no way you’re going to be accepted in those company, whatever is that! You’re fat and.. and.. and Nerd! Have you seen a fat idol? Heck you will never be one!”

Those words keep on repeating in her head. It really hurts, plus the fact that it came from the person she likes.

Because of that, she said to herself that she will prove him that he is so dead wrong! That she can be whatever she wants to be. And when the time comes that he will be able to see her again, he will be sorry, very sorry for everything.

Those experiences of being bullied is what made her hate everything about guys. That is why she became a man hater.

She then has fulfilled her dreams. She became an artist and a very famous one. And surprisingly she is no longer the fatty-o-nerdy that everyone knew. She is now skinny but in a fit way and she no longer wears glasses and braces, and she gained more self confidence. Just like her friend said, she is really pretty but everyone failed to notice it before because she is fat. Now that she is no longer not, it made her more pretty than usual. Not needing any help of plastic surgery or anything like that.

Back to present---

 After my performance for my comeback, I went backstage. Aish! That was so exhausting, I can feel my knees will collapse any minute now, but I’m glad my fans liked it. I entered my dressing room and...
