Chapter 13: Late night call

Sehun’s POV

This morning I messaged Yani noona, but I think she is busy that is why she is not replying so I just decided to message her again later.

We’re still on a day off but we can’t spend it outside properly because of our scary fans so as usual, we just stayed here in our dorm. I’m really bored. No one is having a great idea on what to do and everyone looks so lazy today. Except for Kyungsoo hyung, he is busy doing some house chores again.

Yani’s POV

Its 10:00 in the evening and I just got back from my work. I unlocked the door of my dorm then I entered and locked it again and Kimchi barked as it greets me. I then went straight to my bathroom, took a shower, change into my PJ’s, brush my teeth and prepare for sleep.

Once I’m done preparing myself for a good night sleep, I hopped and positioned myself comfortably on my bed. I’m almost about to drift to my dream land when suddenly my phone started ringing. Aish! It’s late already, who could that be!?

I tried to ignore it but it kept on ringing so I lazy sat up then took my bag on the top of the table beside my bed and rummaged it until I got my phone. I looked at my phone, Sehun!? Aish this kid is really.. Err.. Weird.. Should I answer it? I think I shouldn’t. Wait what if it is something important? Pabo Yani, how will you know if you’re not answering it?

Well, this better be something.. “Yeobusaeyo?” I answered. Lying back on my bed.

“Annyeonghasaeyo Yani noona!” He greeted, whispering.

“Uhh.. Hello Sehun.” I uttered. “Do you need something? And, why are you whispering?”

“Ah-Hehe.. Just checking if you’re still awake and turns out you are!” He said, still whispering. Yeah, you just woke me up. “Suho hyung is already sleeping so I need to keep quiet here so I won’t disturb him”

“Hmmm.. I see. You’re afraid you might disturb him but it’s fine with you to disturb me..”

“What sunbaenim?”

Oh?! Did I say it out loud? Aish paboya Yani -___- “Uhmm.. Nothing.. Nothing..” I yawned a bit..

“Sunbae?.. c-can I ask you something?” He asked. Still whispering but his voice sounds a bit different; like he is nervous.

“You’re already asking.. But anyway, what is it?” I yawned again.. I’m really sleepy actually but this kid’s question got me quite interested.. yeah. Just. Quite…

“Uhmm… ahh… I… ahh…”

Oh ghad.. hurry up kid.. I’m really sleep.. my eye lids are getting heavy already.. in 3

“can I…. uhmmm…”

“Yani sunbae… Can I…”

He said something but I wasn’t really able to hear it clearly because I already fell asleep but before I could I was able to hum “hnghh” in respond to whatever he have said. Like I just said yes… and that is it.... *snors*
