Dr. Brushy
Head of Department of pathology for King's hospital.

I read over the email a third time, was this really happening? As I finished the email again, my heart started to race and I squealed. I put my laptop down before jumping off my bed, and jumping around my room.

The door was thrown open a few minutes later by Bella, "Are you okay? What's all the banging?" I bounded over to her and flung my arms around her petit frame.

"Okay..." Bella said, slowly wrapping her arms around my waist. "I got it!" I whispered. She squeezed me tightly, until I couldn't breathe. "I knew you would!" I showed her the email and she smiled, although it was tinged with sadness.

"What will I do without you?" She whispered, looking down into her lap. I reached over and hugged her. "We'll still talk, and see each other." I reassured her. "Besides, I'll have to see if Owen is okay with it." She snorted. "As if he wouldn't!"

I blushed and she detangled herself. She picked up my phone and handed it to me. "Call him" I took it and pulled up his contact details. I clicked on the call button and waited as it rang. Owen picked up quickly.

Owen💖: Hey!
Erin: Hey, you alright?
Owen: Yep, resting for the match on Saturday.
Erin: Is it a big one?
Owen: Reasonably,
Erin: Are you looking for a roommate?
Owen: No? Why would I?
Erin: God you're an eejit!
Owen: What?
Erin: Well, I got that job I was telling you about!
Owen: Really! That's great!
Erin: Yeah, well, it depends on how well my exams go, but they can't really cancel it unless I fail them all.
Owen: When are they?
Erin: May, Three whole month left.
Owen: We'll have to meet before then, I have your present sitting here, collecting dust!
Erin: Ooh, can't wait! Well, I'd better go, I'll text you later about it in detail?
Owen: Sure, Love you
Erin: Love you too, Bye!

"Shut up" I mumbled, as I saw the big, cheesy grin on Bella's face. "I love you" She mimicked. I blushed. "You guys are goals" I rolled my eyes, but smiled.

"Celebratory hot chocolate and cake?" Bella suggested. I sprang up and rushed out to the hall to put on my shoes. "I'll take that as a yes" She laughed, and started to lace up her converses. "What other answer is there?" I joked.

"True" I grabbed my coat and then waited for Bella to lock up. We walked through the streets slowly. "How am I going to tell my Mum?" I wondered aloud. "You'll be fine" Bella squeezed my hand reassuringly as she said this.

"She did the same didn't she?" I nodded, remembering the story of how they had met.

My Mum had gone on holiday to England with her sister, where the car they had rented had broken down, and the man in the car behind got out to complain, and apparently fell head over heels in love when he saw her. Mum had completed her studies and then moved to England to marry him. They had moved back to Ireland when I was six.

We bought the hot chocolate and sat under my favourite tree as we sipped it, recalling all our favourite memories. "Remember the time you forgot your P.E shorts? And you had to borrow the ones from lost and found?" Bella started. I frowned, I hated this story.

"You pretended they fit because you didn't want to make a fuss, and they ended up falling down while you were running in the bleep test!" Bella pauses, as she is laughing too hard to continue. "You then continued, on trying to pull them up as you did"

Bella collapses onto the ground hysterics, yes, not my finest moment...

A/N: yes it's short, and a filler, but I don't have much time, and I wanted to publish something.
