Horror filled my eyes. I stepped back. I'm so small, and he towers over me. I wouldn't stand a chance if he tried something.

"What do you want." I said dryly, trying to show that I wasn't scared.

"They're after you now." He looked over his shoulder like someone was watching. "Look, there's not much time." His lungs slowly filled with air. He released it all at once. "K.E.P. They're coming. Stay away, whatever you do."

"What?" I gave him a look of confusion.

"I can't say much..." His voice slowly trailed off. "But now, I have to protect you."

"Um, I don't need any protection. And what the heck is K.E.P?" Crossing my arms, I stepped closer again, realizing he wasn't a threat.

"Shh!!" He put his finger over my mouth. I jumped back, but my heel got caught on the rug. Swiftly, he swung his hand to catch me. He had a firm grip around my waist.

"Let go!!" I screamed. As he did, I ran into the bathroom, and hurried to lock the door. Before I could do anything, though, he grabbed my arm.

"No, wait." He said calmly. "This is important."

"Get out." Was all I could manage. I pointed to the door. He looked down to his feet.

"Fine," He almost whispered. His tall, lanky body turned slowly, sulking as he started towards the door.

"Wait," Suddenly, I couldn't hold myself back.

"What?" He asked without turning around.

"What's your name?" My voice was weak, and I tried not to stutter. He didn't move. It made me concerned.

"Lesley," He choked on his words. Turning on his heel, he was now facing me.

"Remember, stay away from K.E.P." And then he left.
