Chapter 10

I opened my eyes and yawned, I got out of bed and got ready so I could go and talk to Skyla, and Cody would have nearly finished school so I might get to see him too I hoped. He was a really nice guy and I wish I could have told him the truth because I really didn't won't to lie to him. As I walked outside and started to walk to Skyla's house I was wondering if I should tell her about Lily and what I saw at school, I was scared if I told Skyla, Lily would find out and do something worse to me.

I stood outside Skyla's house wondering if I should tell her or not then suddenly Skyla opened the door and said,
"What are you doing over here sis?, I thought you had school today"
I looked up at Skyla as she opened the door and I said,
"I didn't go to school today and I want to talk to you about something and its important"
Skyla looked at me and said,
"Why didn't you go to school? And do you want to come in so we can talk?"
I looked down and said,
"I didn't get a good sleep and I really didn't want to go today so I stayed home and yes I would like to come in so we can talk because it's a bit cold out here too"

Skyla looked at me more closely and said,
"You look a bit cold. Follow me."

Skyla turned around and walked into the house so I followed her as she went into the lounge room and she sat on a couch, I followed her and sat beside her.

I looked at Skyla as I sat beside her and said,
"Can I ask you something and tell you something?"

Skyla looked at my closely and said,
"Of course you can ask me anything sis or tell me anything I won't tell anyone I promise"

I looked away wondering if I should be telling Skyla what happened to me or not, then I turned but to her and said,
"Okay here it is but you can't tell anyone, yesterday at school I kept feeling like someone was watching me and when I turned around no one was there. So I went to class and then in class it felt like someone was there watching me. On the way to my locker I saw a black hooded person watching me but I didn't know who it was. So I ran to my locker and I saw Cody there, he asked if I wanted a ride home, but I said no because I wanted to walk but now I wish I had driven home with him, because this black figure followed me home. Before I could get inside they grabbed me and put this cloth to my face and I blacked out. When I woke up I was tied to a chair and I was in I think an old warehouse with the black figure standing in the corner, I watched the black figure approach they had a mask on so I still didn't know who it was then they revealed themselves..." I stopped and started to shake a little and Skyla moved closer to me and put an arm around me to comfort me and said,
"Don't worry no one is going to hurt you. Okay? But I need you to tell me who did this to you?"

I stopped shaking and said,
"I-it was Lily she said to me that if I talked to you or Cody again she would do something really bad to me...she was going to kill me. I didn't know what to do, I was so scared after she said that because when I first saw her she had a sword and was fighting you and I can't fight back. Then she said "Remember what I told you and I've hurt and killed people, so don't mess with me!" Then she put the cloth to my face and I blacked out again and that's all and when I woke up I walked home and saw Cody outside my house".
