Chapter 4

I woke up bright and early with a smile on my face and said,

"I just can't believe I have a family again and I can't wait for school, I'm so excited to see Skyla after school at her place and that guy again at school and I can't believe he goes to the same school as me, I found out from Skyla last night. I can't believe how hot he is!!"

I jumped out of bed and rushed around frantically to get ready for school and just as I was about to leave I heard the doorbell ring. I rushed to the door and I saw Skyla's best friend Cody standing outside my house with his car, smiling at me.

"Would you like a ride to school? We go to the same school."

I returned the smile right back to him and said,

"Oh really? I didn't know you went to the same school as me. I've never seen you around before."

He took a step towards me, held his hand out and said, "You haven't seen me there because I'm new, that's why. Anyway, I don't want to be late, did you want a lift to school?"

I took his hand and in the other I grabbed my jacket from the hook and said, "I would love a ride and thanks".

When we got to school I asked Cody,

"So what class do you have first?"

Cody stopped the car in the parking lot at school and said, "I don't know it's my first day remember, but I hope I'm in some of your classes today so I can talk to you and see your pretty face a little more."

I got out of the car and quickly turned around and said,

"Well I have Maths now so I've got to go but I'll see you later."

On that note, I sent him a little flirtatious wink and I had a smile on my face as I walked away from the car to my locker, where I got my stuff and walked to class. On the way I felt someone's eyes on me, watching me but when I looked around no one was there. I felt a chill run down my spine so I ran to class and the whole day I still felt like someone was watching me.

After class I rushed to my locker and saw Cody standing in front of it holding his books and he looked at me as I got close to my locker and said,

"Are you okay, you look like you've seen a ghost or something?" I walked up to him and opened my locker and put my books in it then I turned to him and said "Not really."

Cody took a step towards me and reached out his hand to hold mine and said "why what's been happening?' I looked at him and sighed and said,

"We'll all day I felt like someone has been watching me but whenever I turned around no one was there and it's starting to scare me and I don't know what to do". Cody hugged me and said,

"Don't worry I'll be here for you and I won't let anyone or anything hurt you okay?" I hugged him back and said,

"Thanks but I just want to go home and leave school, so I'll see you tomorrow then" I turned around about to walk away but I felt a hand on my arm and he said, "Wait do you want a ride home?"

I turned around to face him and said,

"No thanks I am going to walk home instead because I need to think about some stuff? But I'll talk to you later".
