Water dripping. There was water dripping in the corner of the room.

It felt damp and cold. Oh so cold.

I shivered looking down at my choice of clothing.

I was still wearing my royal blue Spring Fling dress.

Spring Fling. I stood up weakly. I was at Spring Fling and the weirdest of things happened. I saw myself. And I don’t mean in the mirror. I mean as in I was standing there helping myself up. And then I was thrown into the back of a car and here I am. In some sort of cellar.

My thoughts were jumbled and I shivered. There was only one small window, but right on top of the wall.

The room was immense, yet the door looked so small.

Where was I?

The tiny door swung open and I walked in. I literally walked in.

‘Hello, Marney.’ I said with a smirk.

And then, I realized that this girl standing in front of me was not me.

This girl had much paler hair, hey eyes were sort of beady and she was the kind of person that radiated bad vibes.

‘Hello Ruby.’ I said in a shaky voice.

Louis walked into Ian’s room.

‘Everyone’s talking about finding dear Marney. You know brother, sometimes I wonder what her blood tastes like? And then I think, you must know. Seeing as you killed her. Good job pretending that she went missing.’ Louis gave a thumbs up sign.

When Ian looked up, his face was sullen. His eyes were hollow in their sockets and heavy black bags were under his eyes.

I did not drink from her.’ He answered with no expression on his face.

‘It was a joke, brother.’ Louis laughed.

‘Well you shouldn’t joke, brother. Do you know where Marney is? She’s with Ruby.’ Ian spat.

‘Ruby?’ Louis asked uncertainly with a raised eyebrow.

‘Yes. Ruby. But I don’t exactly know where she is.’ Ian muttered.

‘Then we’ll find her. Marney’s family must be frantic.’ Louis argued with his brother.

‘And how do you plan on finding her, Louis?’ Ian asked his right eyebrow rose.

‘Where there is a will, there is a way.’ Louis said with a grin.

Grover Goldstone sat with his head in his hands.

His only daughter was missing. How could he have let something like this happen?

He wanted to burst out crying, but he couldn’t. He had to act strong for the sake of his family.

‘Mr. Goldstone?’ a girl’s voice called from the front door.

For a second, he thought it was Marney, but then he noticed that it wasn’t his daughter’s voice. And why would Marney refer to him as “Mr. Goldstone”?

‘In here.’ Grover said trying to make his voice sound stable.

‘Oh there you are. I just came to tell you that I pasted up the missing posters all over town, and Robin and Ashley’s pasting them here in the normal streets. And Ben and Brad are circling the neighborhood, asking if anyone’s seen Marney.’ Regina said happily.

Grover just stared into space.

Regina’s face pulled into an expression of concern and care.

‘Look Mr. Goldstone, we’ll find Marney. I promise. She’ll be home soon. Don’t worry.’ She reassured him. His face still looked glum and blank.
