I wake up early in the morning, about 6 o'clock. I get myself a bowl of cereal, and I get on Twitter as I am eating.
"@AmazingPhil When are you and Dan going to come out?"
Of course this is the first tweet that I see. There are so many other questions they could ask me. But this does make me wonder...
What would it be like if Dan and I were to get in a relationship?
I sit there at our breakfast bar deep in thought. I was so deep in thought that I didn't hear Dan get up. He stumbles into the kitchen, wiping his eyes.
"Good morning, Phil."
His groggy morning voice shakes me from my thoughts.
"Morning."
Dan searches through the cupboards for something to eat. He scolds me under his breath for eating his cereal again.
" Phil, did you eat the rest of my cereal?"
I thought that was obvious. So I didn't answer. He looked straight at me and chuckled.
"I'll buy you more, I promise!"
"Good. Buy yourself your own!"
"But I'm too lazy.."
I dragged out the y for effect. Dan just looks at me and rolls his eyes. I just flash him a smile and he looks away. Why would he look away? My mind began to wonder...
"Phil, you should make me something."
I give him the best confused look I could.
"You know I'm no good at cooking!"
"Please?"
He gave me that innocent look. Ugh. Those eyes. Why is he so perfect? No. Phil stop.
"Phil? You're spacing out."
"Oh, sorry. Sure, what do you want?"
"I'm feeling waffles."
I start to look around, in all of the cupboards. I couldn't find the waffle maker! But I didn't want to disappoint Dan, I would hate to see that look on his face. The way he tries to hide it, but it's evident. Phil, stop.
"I'm gonna look over here and see if I can find it."
"Okay. I'm not having any luck over here."
"Phil, I just remembered. We let Peej and Chris borrow it for that brunch or whatever."
Oh. That's right.
"I have an idea. Let's go you some waffles, and we will go shopping, we can hit up Pj and Chris' place afterwards.
"Alright. I will go get ready."
I don't know what made me feel this way, but I'm excited to spend the whole day with Dan.
