"Woah... People overload!" Abigail thought to herself as she saw the three people... Girls, coming towards her. She was shaking, and was relived the girls looked as nervous as she did. "Hi. I'm Victoria. Call me Tory. Never Victoria... EVER. Head of all things over seas. Specializing in military skills." Said the one in the front. Everything about her screamed 'scary.' From the way her black leggings were ripped, to the studs on her leather jacket, to the high ponytail, even her hot pink headband was intimidating. Behind her, the tall blonde smiled and gave a sort of half-wave. "Kay'lin. We can talk more about me later. But this is Petal..." Kay'lin, who was very pretty and strong, pushed a girl into the front. The poor girl was small and fragile, with dark eyes and light brown hair. She pushed her hair in front of her face, like a curtain she was hiding behind. As she spoke up, Abigail noted that even her voice sounded fragile. "I'm P-petal... Sec-secretary... I'm... I'll be working with... You... Frequent... Frequently." The girl managed to stutter, trying to hide again. Abigail laughed. "They honestly need a perfect person to tell me who calls and what-not? Did they forget about technology?" With a burst of courage Petal stepped forward and laughed. Astonishingly enough, her laugh sounded like a bunch of tiny tinkling bells, and Abigail could have listened to it all day. "Fool!" Petal finally muttered. "Computers, technology... It can be fooled, or hacked. But not me. Photographic memory. Everything I need to know gets stored up in here." She said pointing to her temple. "And I never forget... Anything." With that, she goes back to being her original shy self, and disappears behind the other to girls. The three of them look at me insistently, and I am in the verge of questioning their sanity when it hits me. "Oh yeah, right. I'm Abigail... President... I'm your boss. So... Isn't another group coming?" I ask. Petal nods and Kay'lin leads them past me, looping am arm through mine and dragging me with them. "Two boys. And I heard their really something." She whispers in my ear.
"Hotness overload." Abigail shook her head, wondering how the thought got there and blinked several times. Yup. They were still there. The first guy was brunette, with black eyes and slicked back hair, and a dark suit. Her grinned, looking mostly at Kay'lin and stated, "Adam. And I think I need to get to know the two of you better." With that he walked over to the couches in the corner if the room, and Kay'lin and Tory followed him. They seemed to be having an extremely hysterical conversation, and it probably would have been that way for a long time had not Petal saved the day. She let out a quiet cough and the other boy seemed to come out of a daze. "Hi. I suppose your the President..." He pointed at Abigail. "And your... Someone I can get to know later... I'm Liam. And I am truly sorry if I am coming off as a jerk. I really am quite hungry." And with that he departed, looking for food, and leaving Petal quite peeved. "The nerve of some people..." She muttered while going to once more hide behind Kay'lin.
For the rest of the night the three girls and the two boys spoke and ate, seeming to become good friends. Abigail sat and watched from afar, feeling more alone than ever. A figure sat down beside she a sighed, a full bodied, I-am-too-tired-to-care sigh. "More dudes are coming." Tory muttered to Abigail. "But this time normal ones. They said it was to 'keep us from getting big heads'," Tory said in a ridiculous impression of a man, "but frankly, I don't think we need them. But they don't really care bout my opinion. I'm not a fancy old guy in a suit with loads of money. " Tory looked almost disgusted and handed Abigail a pear. "Thanks." Abigail started biting into the juicy fruit. "Listen I..." But she was interrupted by the beeping of a device in the corner of the room. "Curfew in 5 minutes. Please station yourselves in the bunkers with your names on the doors." The monotone voice repeated over and over. "Lets pick this up tomorrow Miss President. I'm looking forward to it." Tory muttered, then walked briskly into the hallway labeled 'females.' It wasn't hard to find Abigail's bunker. It was the biggest door, and the first one on the left. Inside was a small closet with no clothes, but an empty hanger in which she placed her dirty clothes. There was a small tub in the corner where she rinsed off, and when she finished, she found her soiled clothed replaced with a black silk nightgown. She slipped it on, and scrambled into the small old bed, located in the center of the room, and leaving only about a foot of extra space on either side of the bed. It was cold and drafty in the room, and before being dragged into a restless sleep, Abigail heard, "Here we go... Ugh." Coming from the room beside her. "Goodnight to you too." She whispered back.
