My eyes fluttered open, only to see a white ceiling and thin light that luminated the room. As my sore body got up, I then realized I was in a hospital room. Gifts and letters littered the tray table in front of me.
"Ugh, my head." I lifted my hand to the back of my skull, trying to sooth the pain.
'Knock, knock'
My eyes reverted to the sound of the hospital door, as it slowly begins to open.
"Your headache will be gone soon enough." A man stepped in the room, his face resembled to that of a frog. He held a clip board in his hand and a pen in the other. I chuckled at my thoughts to the man that potentially rescued me.
"You were lucky young lady. That car would've killed you if you haven't been saved." He gave a reassuring smile. I cocked my head, then realized that I was saved by someone. "A-accelerator..." I whispered his name under my breath.
"You should be out by noon time, today." He jotted down information on his clipboard.
"You've got some great friends," he pointed to the clutter of gifts. "Ya know, someone stopped by and told me to give you this." He held out his hand, he placed a white card in front of me. "He seemed very worried about you." He smiled and left.
My hands touched the smooth paper, and began to open it. A "Get Better Soon." Was written on the front, and as I opened it, my eyes widened in shock, "Next time, pay attention idiot. From, Accelerator."
