DAY 6-Part 1

"Wake up!" Cassidy cried out, into my dream where Chris Evans was... never mind.

We all looked up and saw her looking excitedly at her phone.

"What?" I asked, scooting up so I was leaning against the seatback.

"There's a rappelling company selling trips for a discount!" she exclaimed.

Don't ask me why but Cassidy is scared of everything, but for some reason she seems to forget this and always insists on doing stupid things, that she backs out of at the last second, and leave us to face. So you can understand my hesitation.

"Rappelling?" Kieran asked.

"Yeah! Off of an arch and into a canyon!" she smiled.

"Let's do it!" Annabelle agreed, "it's time we crossed something off our bucket list!"

She pointed to the pages taped to the back door, sure enough, on page 2, there was Rappelling.

"You're right," I said, throwing aside my doubt, if all else failed I'd just tie her in and push her off.

"I don't know," Kieran said, "it seems like a lot could go wrong."

"Nuh-uh!" Cassidy argued.

Kieran grabbed her phone, "Cassidy, this says they run the company out of their garage, and look! It was founded... yesterday."

"So what! Let's do it!" Annabelle laughed.

"It's a bad idea!" Kieran cried.

"You have bad judgment!" Cassidy yelled.

"No I don't!" Kieran shot back.

Before he had even finished his sentence Cassidy blurted, "you slept with Bella Ross!"

That was enough to shut him up and two hours later we wound up standing over a hole in the ground that was about 200 feet deep.

"Well this is cool," Cassidy said on of the guys, who was named Red. The other was named Phineas, but besides his name he was pretty cool.

"Yeah," Phineas said, as he gave the rope a tug, tightening it to the restraints holding it into the rock wall.

We had hiked about a half mile to get here, but it was worth it, from where we were standing you could see tons of arches, canyons, and all the other Moab stuff that I can't really describe as anything but rock penises.

"Alright, I'm gonna head down, then the four of you will go, and Phineas will follow, then we'll head out," Red said, holding his rope and walking over the side.

"That's... fun..." Cassidy whimpered trying to sound brave.

"It will be, I'll go before you then you can go, so you know that it's safe." I smiled, patting her on the back.

"Oh shit," Phineas said.

"What?" Red asked.

"We have to go fast," Phineas said, "Circa just pulled up."
"Circa?" I asked.
