Unexpected.

{Hailey}

"What would you two like for tonight?" The waiter asks.

"Um can I have the chicken pasta and iced tea?" I say to the waiter, she nods.

"How about you sir?" She asks, "Um, I would have the um clam chowder. Also an iced tea." He says, she nods.

"Okay I will be back with your drinks and your orders will be ready in half an hour maybe." She smiles me walks away.

We both get our meals and start to eat. Minutes later...

"Um Hailey?" Blake asks.

"Is there something wrong?" I ask.

"No I want to ask you a question." He says.

"Go for it." I say, he's pulls out a box.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" He asks, opening he box, revealing a ring.

"It's a promise ring." He says, he looked nervous. I nod.

"I'd love to be your girlfriend." I smile.

We both finish our food, then walk around the city.

"Oh sorry." I bump into someone. I look up to see Bryce my ex.

"Bryce?" I say questioning.

"Oh hi Hailey, you live here now?" He asks.

"Yeah, oh um Bryce meet Blake, Blake is my boyfriend and Bryce was one of my old friends." I say they both shake hands.

"Hey we should catch up. As friends, and plus, you have a boyfriend so I wouldn't try to steal you away. Also Um can I have your number?" He asks, he gives me his phone I dial in my number and gave it back to him.

"Thank you, I'll text you soon." He says and walks away from us.

"Bryce seems cool." Blake says, "Well he is cool." I say laughing.

"How about we go back to your apartment? We can cuddle and watch Netflix." Blake says and I nod. We both find our way back to his car.

{Cameron}

"Hayes just call her." I say as Hayes paces around the door with his phone.

"No I can't. She hates me. We haven't talked in five months. She left last month, you know how hard it was for me to handle that? I can't speak to her, she won't answer anyways." He says.

"Well then." I roll my eyes, "Um well I'm visiting her soon so. You can come I mean, you can finally speak to her. Since you keep whining about it." I say.

"When?" He asks.

"Next week." I say.

"Really? No no no. Did you tell her?" He asks.

"No I was going to surprise her, you can come though." I say grabbing my phone.

"I shouldn't go I can't go, school." He says, which I know he really wants to go.

"Well, sucks for you." I say walking up the stairs.

"I'm coming with you!" I hear him yell.

I walk into the room Hailey had in the house. It's still the same. Just that her iMac is gone, mostly everything is gone expect the furniture. I miss having Hailey here, I remember the day when she came here, when she was 15. She told me that everyone hated her or something I don't know, but our mom told me. She said that Hailey was pregnant? Like Okay...

"Hayes!" I yell, from upstairs, since I saw a whole scrapbook of Hailey and Hayes together. Which they both made.

"What?" He says sliding into the room then he saw the book.

"Mine." He says and runs over to me grabbing the scrapbook and then starts running off.

"What is up with this kid?" I whisper to myself.

"Cameron!!" Hayes screams.

"What now." I groan walking to his room.

"Look!" He points at a picture.

"Um cool. How about I make a flight for tomorrow? Since you're so excited." I roll my eyes.

"Okay." He says.

"Go pack." I say checking the time it was seven o'clock.
Then I walked out his room, I haven't planned how long we're going to stay over there, but I'm thinking about a week. Since Hailey told me her address I know where she lives.

*Next Day*

"Let's go Hayes!" I say checking my duffle bag if I had everything. I grab my backpack that had my Mac and my electronic stuff in and put it in my back, because where else would you put a backpack? Hayes walks into my room he has his duffle bag and his backpack too.

"Let's go." I say he nods, we head down the stairs. Opening the front door, closing and locking it afterwards. Jaxx is with my mom, I dropped him off yesterday. We both walk to the Range Rover, putting the  bags in the trunk.

"Off to New York. Hayes are you excited?" I ask.

"No." He says.

"Why not?" I ask.

"Because. Hailey hates me she doesn't care about me anymore, so why should I try to take her back? It's been almost two months since she moved Cameron. Two months, and she has a boyfriend already."
