"Stop it." My best friend Makinata states, as she inches away from Kino, an obnoxious boy in our class (unfortunately). "Sheesh, I was only teasing you!" He exclaims, and puts down the chopsticks that were previously poking an aggravated Makinata's petite nose. Makinata tosses her long lime hair. "Whatever. C'mon Kowagatte, let's go." I was going to follow her anyways, but she grasps my wrist and yanks me from the lunch table, leaving my ramen for everyone else at the table to steal. Once we are away from the crowd, I whisper to Maki ," Damn you! I still had ramen to ea-" she cuts me off by shoving her half-eaten egg roll halfway down my throat. "You need to listen to me. Right now," she demands. I choke for a few seconds, swallow the roll, and straighten up. "What's up?" "I know you will never believe me," she begins," but I think I saw an angel." I just stare at her. What in the hell was she rambling about? I've known Maki for a very long time, and I know she doesn't like fiction stories. "Hmm?" I mumble, and cock my head to the side. "I'm dead serious!" she pouts, and grasps both of my shoulders and looks me straight in the eye. She rarely ever does this either. Her beautiful sea blue eyes are always hidden under her long green hair. "You have to believe me. I saw it. And it told me something concerning you." I guess since she seemed so intent on telling me her story, I would listen for a bit. "They told me that someone was coming for you. They want you to go with them as their long-lost princess. And if you don't go, they will kill your family and force you to go."
