Cold

The season of spring was not being nice, as it was a freezing cold afternoon. You sit around the small lunch table with Ryan and his friends, shivering in your thin, baby blue sweater. Attempting to eat your chicken salad, your shaking hand reaches for the plastic fork. You fail miserably as you try not to make it obvious.

"Ryan, your girlfriend is cold." Erika points out, looking at Ryan in the eyes.

"Yeah man, what do you do when your girlfriend is cold?" Sean hinted.

Ryan chewed on his taco, and looks over at you. "Be cold with her."

Everyone at the table looks at him with scrunched eyebrows.
