Iron and Joule

Once more before I begin, I just want to say that I will actually begin to focus on writing a actual book with actual chapters rather then these little, random, out of order stories. I'm going to be writing a little story about Iron's origins and how he came to Vaingloria and maybe just a story of how all the vainglory heroes became friends. But don't worry, I'll still write random stories like this. Now, I present to you, my biggest act of courage, enjoy. :)

Iron's Pov:

"Ugh... how much longer do we have to walk?" Man, how long did it take to get back to our house? I mean, on the way to Taka's old village from our house, we got there in no time. But now it feels like we've been walking for ages. Maybe it's the Evil Queen that's slowing us down.
"Geez iron, I don't know." Replied Taka, "We'll be there soon. Do you have to complain every time we have to walk a long distance?"
"Dude, my legs hurt like hell. I mean look, I'm carrying my whole suit on my back." Taka looked at me with a look of disbelief. I obviously saw that he was tired as well but, him being Taco, he had to prove himself stronger then me in front of Koshka. Heh... I guess it was his way of embarrassing me in front of Joule, if so... Well played Taco, well played....
"Iron, cut that bullshit, we all know that your suit carries you... And besides, if you spend as much time working out as you did playing games up in your room, then you'd be as strong as me." Awww fuck no... He did not just say that to me.
"Do you guys always fight?" Said the Evil Queen. Crap, she almost scared me. I was too busy finding a comeback that I forgot that she was here.
"Pretty much. Get used to it." Replied Koshka, rolling her eyes.
"Haha Kosh, for the record we don't fight a lot." I replied, and yes I did call her "Kosh" and yes I was aware that Taka was fuming right now.
"IRON YOU LITTLE SHIT! ONLY I CAN CALL HER KOSH!" Taka yelled at the top of his lungs. Damn, such big voice from such a little body.
"Lol (yes iron says lol out loud, don't ask why) Taco, calm down, I do it cause I love you." And at this comment I made a kissy face at Taka to annoy him.
"I swear, one day..." Taka said, threatening me.
"Oh come here you little assassin." And I pulled him into a bro hug. It's stuff like this that makes him value our broship, I think. I felt Taka struggling but somewhat enjoying this hug. Good, let the bromance flow thought you. Crap, that sounds weird. I looked back at Joule and saw that she had a saddened look on her face.
"Hey joule, what's wrong?" I asked out loud. We all turned to look at her gloomy face.
"Huh?" She suddenly looked up, forgetting her thoughts and replied, "Oh nothing." Hmph... Whenever I did this with Taka she always looked sad. Last time I even saw her shed a tear. I let go of Taka and slowed my pace down so I was walking next to her. She looked over at me but said nothing.
"Uhh... guys, can you please walk a bit faster?" I said, with a hint of embarrassment. I obviously wanting some privacy with Joule, without the rest finding out what I was going to do next. Actually you know what? I kinda want Koshka and Taka to witness this. Yes that sounds selfish but I do it for love.
"Ooooooo... Iron!!!!" Said Koshka, winking at me. Yes... You know exactly what's going to happened.
"Koshka please, just..." and I waved her away, trying to make it look like I didn't care. It might seem like I want to put on a show, but I don't. Well.. I kinda do. I wanna put on a show about my love.
"Alrighty then." She replied walking a bit faster forward. I heard The Evil Queen asking Koshka what was going on but I couldn't hear Koshka's response because she was too far way.
"Ight Joule, please be honest with me. You're my friend right? What's wrong?" I saw her lips curl into a fake smile.
"Hehe... nothing, everything's alright." I looked closely at her face.
"I know when you lie, Joule." I said with a stern look, "Come on, please tell me. I know it has something to do with me. I promise I won't over react." And I gave her mech at little pat. At that, her mech whined as a way of telling me, "Oh staph you." Joule let out a big sigh before finally telling me the truth.
"Alright fine, I'll tell you." And at that she got down from her mech so that she was waking height to height with me. "It's just that... I see you and Taka like the best of friends and like... I'm back here alone. It kinda makes me sad that I don't have a friendship like that."
"Ohh come on, I know you've got friends just like me and Taka. I see you, Koshka, Celeste, Catherine, Rona and Skye all laughing and fangirling. Besides, me and Taka are bros, and he's not the only one that I do that too. I mean, HAVE you seen me and ringo?" I said, with a reassuring tone.
"I know that I have friends like you and Taka but what I meant was, I wanna be the type of friend like you and Taka. I wanna be like a bro. With YOU." Holy shit, did she just say that? I blushed like crazy even though I'm a guy. But I still felt like she wasn't telling the whole truth. And I finally decided it was time to do this, once and for all. No holding back until the perfect moment, because the more time that passes, the more I'll regret not doing it. Just do it, like Shia Labeouf said, don't let your dreams be dreams.
"You're lying." And at that she looked at me with saddened look. "No I know what you really want." And I grabbed her arm and pulled her back to a stop. She was taken aback. Oh well look at this, it's the perfect moment now. I looked ahead and saw that Koshka was walking a bit slower. Hopefully she won't she what happens next. Ohh who am I kidding, I want her to see this!
"What you really want," and I cleared my throat loudly so that Koshka would hear me, "is for us to be like Koshka and Taka. Don't lie to me, I know you like me." Oh boy I hit the sweet spot, Joule blushed like crazy and... Oh man I felt myself blushing even more, a warm feeling erupted in my chest. I looked over at Koshka and saw that she turned around to look at us and she had her phone out. I've been waiting forever to tell this to Joule and I wanted Koshka to capture our first kiss, my first kiss.
"And the truth is..." I continued, "is that I like you too. From the moment I saw you, I knew you were the one I've always wanted to be with." I pulled joule in for a kiss, and she let it happened. Holy fucking shit! YESS! Oh I've waited so long and it finally happened. At the corner of my ear I heard Koshka squealing like crazy and Taka wolf whistling me. I even heard Evil queen gasping. After what felt like a long time, I pulled out of our kiss and I asked a question that I've always wanted to ask, I even got down on one knee, "Joule, will you be my girlfriend?" Oh you thought I was going to ask her to marry me? Haha... No. Not yet. Now I'll be honest, that kiss has increased my confidence in her saying yes, but I was still nervous.
"Oh my god, Iron yes!" And she wrapped her arms around me. Oh man, it finally happened. I asked joule to be my girlfriend and she said yes! Oh wait till everyone hears this! And I'm over reacting, well to be honest, asking her to be my girlfriend at this time was kinda over reacting but look at that beautiful smile. I grabbed Joule's hand and we both walked over to where Koshka, Taka and the Evil Queen all stood. Taka and Koshka quickly came up to both of us, congratulating and, Taka obviously forgetting about our little fight, pulled me into a bro hug. Koshka gave Joule a giant hug as well. As we continued on, I didn't care about the long trip home, all I cared about is that me and Joule were finally together, and the beautiful scenery that was around us.
